An authentic excellent hotel in the less touristed side of Martinique. Employees were all wonderful, helpful and friendly. Several spoke English which was very helpful. The food was very good and we would definitely stay there again. The room was nice and clean with a clean toilet and shower.

We stayed here overnight on a brief trip to Grand Riviere. Centrally located, there is ample street parking within a few metres walk. Greeted on arrival with a friendly face and a refreshing rum punch drink, all the staff without exception during our stay were very friendly and cheerful. The rooms are simple but bright and welcoming and equipped with air conditioning. Plenty of hot water for the shower. They do provide dinner in the evening for guests but this does have to be booked in advance. Breakfast consists of yoghurt, bread and fresh fruit with a hot drink and juice which we found quite sufficient. The small town itself is interesting and very authentic, not at all geared to tourism. Local people are all very friendly and there is an attractive church to visit. There is a pleasant sea front good for strolling in the evening and a few hundred meters from the centre of town there is a nice beach with a tropical backdrop.

On vous conseille le plat : le cantonal part dans toute l île : un savoureux rendez vous ! surtout si il est servi avec la gentillesse de Laetitia qui est adorable, le petit dej avec fruits frais, servi par Georgina, très attentionnée, le le Blanc Manger de Rosine, le meilleur de l île.

Plus rien ne va chez tante Arlette le soir en tous cas ,aucun choix ,même pas de pain ! À part Rodolphe qui est parfait nous avons tout détesté ,les chambres surtout fenêtres minuscules donnant directement sur un mur et situées à 1m 80 de hauteur !

Nous avons séjourné une nuit chez Tante Arlette , une institution familiale qui se trouve être le plus ancien restaurant de l’île , un personnel au petits soin , les chambres sont conformes à la description et très cosy , tout est pensé pour y passer un agréable séjour , le restaurant est de très bonne qualité pour un prix qui est « dérisoire » compte tenu de la qualité et la quantité proposé , cuisine typique et très soignée, les cocktails sont généreux et très bons et le petit déjeuner est lui aussi à la hauteur du reste des prestation de cet hôtel. Rodolphe est d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle et vous fera goûter les sirops et liqueurs qu’il confectionne lui même à partir d’herbes, de fleurs et de fruits locaux c’est bluffant de voir quelqu’un de passionné comme il l’est , si vous allez dans le nord de l’île arrêtez vous chez Tante Arlette vous ne serez pas déçus sincèrement !! Encore merci à toute l’équipe et à Rodolphe pour votre accueil nous reviendrons volontiers Je recommande vivement !! Quentin et Pauline
