Tremendous little hotel right on the beach, overlooking the marina. Spotlessly clean, welcoming and has everything you could need for a pleasant stay. But the staff are what make it - extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble and they were very patient with my terrible attempts at Spanish! A bus stop right outside will take you to Gandia town, the train station, the shopping mall or wherever. Highly recommend it for solo travel. You will sleep like a log too, the beds are great! I got a nice big bathroom and a lovely terrace to sit out on, and there’s a fridge, plus you can get the bbc news channel. Thanks to the team, hope to see you again soon!

Room decoration is very basic, looks to be clean but 'deja mucho que desear'... You open the door to the balcony and either get hit with the noise from the pool or mosquitoes (I only opened the door once and I had 8 in total). Walls are so thin... I could hear the guy next door slapping someone's cheeks... 'doesn't leave much to the imagination'... Staff is cordial and helpful most of the time, but sometimes they are either ignorant, slow or unhelpful... not sure which. WiFi is somewhat weak, kept dropping and disconnecting. Breakfast was okay... with really bad coffee. Bed was comfy enough, aircon was good, rooms seem bright enough. Overall, I would choose a different hotel if one has a bit more budget. One very good thing is the location, that's perfect! Also, the check in and check out processes were fine.

I have just returned after a weeks holiday at hotel san luis with my sister and my brother and his wife. I had a wonderful holiday and this was partly due to the hotel san luis. My room was fantastic, a very comfortable bed and every facility I needed, with air conditioning, that saved my life on more than one occasion! The food was outstanding, the quality and quantity was exceptional, the menus creative and exciting. Above all the staff were amazing, without exception they were friendly and charming and nothing was too much trouble. They worked hard and were ultra efficient and they made you feel relaxed and important whether it was early morning or very late at night. My brother and his wife have been going to hotel san luis for four years and I can understand why. Highly recommended. Thank you hotel San Luis.

Después de pasar la noche baje a tomar café a la cafetería pero estaba cerrada, al verlo pregunte en recepción si no podái tomar café donde estaban dando los desayunos, que solo querái un café. Pues no, me negaron ponerme un café estando alojado, que si quería tomar un café tenía que pagar todo el desayuno. Tuve que irme a la calle a otro establecimiento a tomar un simple café. Trato muy desagradable y que impedirá que vuelva a este hotel. Nunca me niego a pagar por los servicios no contratados o no incluidos pero esta actuación me parece muy "cutre" y achacable a la mala gestión de la dirección del hotel y a su personal ineficiente. No tiene sentido alguno lo que pasó.

El hotel San Luis es para pasar unas vacaciones tranquilas y relajadas, es la quinta vez que veníamos, está vez con mis padres para que lo conocieran, y no dejaremos de volver siempre que viajemos a Gandía. La limpieza es lo más destacado tanto en habitaciones como en zonas comunes, la comida del restaurante es muy buena pero deben volver a poner a alguien supervisando las mesas para ver qué falta como hacían el resto de veces que hemos estado aquí, 3 camareras para todo el restaurante se queda escaso. Los arroces, fideuá, las costillas, la crema de melón con jamón... son exquisitos y los postres son caseros y buenos. También quiero destacar el trato y amabilidad al cliente, te sientes como en casa. Tuvimos que dejar la habitación antes de la fecha y el trato humano ha sido insuperable. Gracias por todo.

Pasamos una única noche pero estuvimos muy a gusto. Todo muy limpio, buen ambiente, buen trato del personal. Cama y almohada cómodas, habitaciones amplias, desayuno buffet bueno. Tiene zona de descanso al entrar. Por poner un pero nos informaron del desayuno el día anterior que era a 6 euros y luego al día siguiente nos cobraron 7.
