We were I. A room on the top floor which have a great view. However the room was tired and desperately needs refurbishment. The room was also VERY warm - no heating was on but because the windows are (understandably) restricted in how wide they open there was limited cool air that could reach the room. This meant us having to sleep in a room with a temperature over 28’c which was unbearable.

Excellent location. Good reception. Wedding party in full swing was fine. Sadly, the restaurant was closed which was disappointing as we were hoping to have a relaxing evening. Food was served in the bar and was not the standard you would expect at such an establishment but we had no choice as local restaurants were difficult to secure a booking so late in the day. Room was fine and staff excellent. Small problem with evening bar meal was avoidable. Although we booked a table on arrival using our room number, we received a call from reception the following day asking for payment - we explained that we were not due to leave until the following day and would settle the account immediately if required - which we did. Again not the level of expertise and communication you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is very unique and beautiful. The mountain opposite is worth climbing and the top of the mountain is very beautiful.

The front desk staff was very unprofessional. We booked two rooms, but the rooms we were given were not on the same floor and were very far away. We changed the room card, but it didn't work. We sent a courier to change my daughter's school uniform. We placed an order on the courier website and the courier came to pick it up the next day. Because we were going to participate in an event at school the next day, we communicated with the front desk and asked them to leave the school uniform at the front desk to help the courier. The front desk also agreed, but the courier came to pick it up the next day, and the front desk told the courier that they didn't have it... I was speechless. I drove back to the hotel to pick up the courier and drove more than 20 kilometers to mail it out.
