Premier Inn Great Yarmouth West (A47)

Myles one of the staff members was very welcoming when we arrived, and the beds were perfect for “cuddling”, the room was also very clean and I would stay here again. Would fully recommend to anyone wanting to stay near the seaside in Great Yarmouth :)

This hotel is just a 10 min walk from Great Yarmouth station. Seems to be more of a hotel for workers to stop off overnight rather than holidaymakers. All staff I came across were polite and helpful. Room on the 1st floor was quiet and clean. Breakfast was decent and I could see all products offered for my continental choice were on offer. Would be happy to stay here again.

we wasnt happy with the accessability room we had booked ,reason being could smell urine from the bathroom it was a large room and had a large shower needed updating and re decorated the hotel manager was great he did his best to make us happy ..he took us to another room which was perfect,the size was good very comfortable bed,perfect pillows, immaculate bedding,very clean room and bathroom,nicely heated, there was tea coffee making station too staff were friendly and helpful breakfast was in the beefeater nxt door and was a lovely nicely cooked breakfast plenty of free parking think there was 5 disabled parking spaces great value for money,would stay here again

I arrived at the Premier Inn in Great Yarmouth West without a booking. It took some time to get checked in, as the booking system is clearly designed to make life as difficult as possible for guests who do not have mobile phones. Once checked in, however, it was fine. The room had everything I expected, including a bath, and it was quiet except when my upstairs neighbour was clumping around. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Slightly surprised that the restaurant was in a separate building, but as it wasn't raining it wasn't a problem, and I enjoyed my two dinners there. I didn't go for breakfast as I thought the price was a bit steep when all I normally eat is a bowl of cereal. The staff were, without exception, cheerful, friendly and very helpful.

Arrived 27th December to see my children who live in Yarmouth 1st - arrived 2.30 to check in asked to pay £10 to check in b4 3pm !!! So didn't bother 2. Room cold.air con fan wouldn't switch off so noisy. Reported to reception ( we will sort !! ) 3.arrived bk late after seeing family room freezing with air-conditioning fan still running even tho switched off at wall 4.so no sleep nor could i hear tv due to noise 5.bed not comfortable- as it states on all the tv advertising!!! Lumpy 6.breakfast first morning- ran out of certain products even tho 8.30 and breakfast started 7.30.!! Waiting on products also being cooked no much on hot plates. Breakfast extremely poor. 7.sat evening- arrived bk after day out to No water !!! Told been powercut ( this has been mentioned also on there dates ) So unable to get a shower b4 heading out . 8. Again room very cold and uncomfortable. 9. Mold on ceiling in bathroom 10 Outside areas are a building site with no lights on the carpark so dangerous as area around the hotel isn't the best ( I kno having previously lived in the area for over 24years) Reception made aware of all of this on my return and reported to customer service on the Monday 2day . After a lot of discussion they have refunded me the hotel costs but refuse to refund breakfast which was low quality. Please think twice about staying here there is a far better one on the sea front. I booked ere as it was convenient to my children. But wished I'd booked another hotel. Please read the reviews they don't lie

we had a power cut which left rooms with no water. no staff came to check if people where OK being left in the dark. no bottled water was offered to existing guest. it was too hot in the rooms and could not turn the heat lower then 17. only stayed for 1 night when 2 nights where booked as I needed water for my daughter and granddaughter. staff just did not seem bothered bout any of this and was not offered to go to another hotel or refund. Will not stay at this hotel again. Norwich was alot better.
