This was my worst experience of my life with Marriott. I had been a platinum member for long time. I did my booking via ******* and when i reached the property i was told my booking is canceled. They mentioned that an email was sent couple days ago and those emails generally go into spam folders. Not just that the email says we confirm your reservation and then at the end it was mentioned about cancelling if we do not call. Also i never got any phone call or message regarding this. And not just that no email was sent that my booking is canceled. I drove 7 hours for my daughter's track national and the front desk said my booking is canceled and they do not have any room available. How could you cancel a confirmed booking and not communicate in right manner. This is pathetic service and experience i had with brand like marriott. The front desk also did not help with anything, didn’t help find any other available marriott property. We did not have anywhere to stay and had to sleep in the car when my daughter needed the rest for her nationals next day and that was a very important event of her life. I really want an answer and compensation for this event.
