Visited this hotel January 2023. Very friendly and service oriented staff. Reasonable price incl good breakfast, and in my opinon a unique hotel in terms of recepteion area and how "outdoor buildings / houses" have been "built together" with a fantastic design and construction, giving me an "outdoor feeling" with a transparent roof enabling daylight to brighten up the area and at the same time having the good and warm inside temperature.

I found the hotel located well to me since I was coming for an academic trip to the University. I loved the reception and staff with whom I interacted. Breakfast was excellent as well and served timely

It is as expected from a brand like Scandic, you get your moneys worth. The rooms are tidy and elegant. Booking and accomodation from staff was smooth and easy, no trobles. Parking was a little interesteing, you get to park on from of the hotell to get your bags out, but then you have to drive 5 min to a parking ground witch is free and only a 3-4 min walk away from the hotell.

Very nice hotel in the center of Grimstad. The room was nice, with a good view. Though it is within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, it was quiet. The breakfast was, as with many Scandic hotels, excellent. We were able to park for free at a nearby church, a 5 min walk away.

Friendly staff that answers questions before and during the stay. Good and healty breakfast during the whole week. If you are planning a trip to Grimstad, Scandic Grimstad is a safe and good choise of staying.
