Spa Hotels in Grindelwald

Nice mountain view from the room, but the room is not big. The hotel located 10 mins walk from the Grindlewald station and 2 mins walk from the First Bahn to go Grindlewald First. The breakfast is nice but it’s only open at 7am hence it’s quite rush if you have early activity which you have to leave the hotel early e.g to go to Jung frau.

The hotel itself is right at the outside of train station, and if you have alot of luggage and do not want to drag all the way to the hotel, this is your place to be. Decent breakfast but decent room size. Location location location, look no further if location is your number one choice while the hotel itself is clean and service is acceptable.

When we first entered the room, we saw corpses of mosquitoes everywhere on the wall, and there were mosquitoes flying everywhere in the room. A few of them were killed and sprayed blood. The bedside table lamp was also broken. Fortunately, after contacting the receptionist, we were allowed to change rooms. It was very convenient. It's hard to imagine how uncomfortable this night would have been if I hadn't changed rooms. After all, I spent nearly 10,000 Taiwan dollars. I shouldn't have come here to suffer. I give the lady at the counter a big thumbs up. The biggest selling point here is the heated swimming pool, which directly faces the Eiger and Grindelwald slopes. It is open from 12 to 21 o'clock. If it were not for the swimming pool, I might not choose this one due to hygiene reasons.

The location of the hotel is really good. Walking out is the dreamy hillside, next to the train station, and walking up there is a small town supermarket and some small shops. It is also very close to the first Shandong cable car. Although it is a hotel that is more than 100 years old, the infrastructure is also super good, with everything it should have, and the breakfast is also very good.

The well-designed interiors, the mesmerizing view (even through the rain), the exceptional service, and the mouthwatering breakfast made my stay truly remarkable. We booked two rooms for a family trip and asked to be arranged closer or on the same floor. In the end, we were given two floors... The room was spacious but the facilities were simple. The service attitude was excellent. They also arranged a car to take us to the train station for free before leaving. It was very close to the Dream Hill.

The room and the balcony face the valley, there is no obstruction in front, and the beauty is simply unreal. The room is simple but very clean. The shower in the bathroom has enough water pressure and is very comfortable. The restaurant is of a high standard and the price is very reasonable in Switzerland. The owner is very kind, will come to say hello chat at dinner, and teach children to feed their own goats. The hotel offers a transfer to the train station. This is a family-style business management model, mainly by the hostess to take care of daily. The whole house is decorated very warmly, the hostess is also considered polite, and communication in English is basically barrier-free. There is a small balcony in the room, which can have a panoramic view of the dreamy hillside. There are not many varieties of breakfast, and the croissants are particularly delicious.

It’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is not very far, but it’s a little tired if it rains with a suitcase. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the First cable car station, which is very convenient. It is worth mentioning that if you choose to include dinner when booking the hotel, it is really super cost-effective ~ delicious and rich, every day I will seriously post menus everywhere, and I am responsible for saying that this is the level of Fine Dining, such a dinner Any restaurant should be above 120 francs per capita. The restaurant environment is also nothing to say, the service quality is very good ~ excellent experience, rich breakfast, worth the price, super recommended. They also gave home-made potato chips when they left. If it is not enough, it may be that the facilities in the room are average~ but it is very clean, the balcony is facing the mountain, beautiful!
