A colleague and I stayed here for just one night, during a business trip in the area. Suffice to say that I’d love to return for a holiday weekend. It’s a small, privately owned hotel. My room was simply but beautifully decorated and furnished, and was comfortable and pristine. The hotel is fairly remote, so a car is a necessity to get to restaurants and bars. We went to a restaurant called La Prada, about 2km from the hotel, which was fabulous. The surrounding countryside is truly breathtaking, and I say that as someone who spends a fair amount of time climbing hills in the Scottish Highlands and the English Lake District. Hotel Il Crinale is a real gem, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our short stay was perfect. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending the hotel to anyone who visits the area. What a great wee place. Beautiful. Serene. Welcoming. Perfect.

UNBELIEVABLE experience! First of all the drive up to this hotel is breath taking!!!! Mountain upon Mountain view’s all around you. Tranquility is the theme in this beautiful town only 20 minutes to Bologna! As we arrived to the hotel the owners happened to be outside chatting with their neighbors. They welcomed us with a huge smile and Ciao!!! They are a lovely husband and wife team. We took the elevator up to our room and it was stunning. Mountain View, spotless, and the bed and bedding was superbly comfortable. Then in the morning we were greeted with another huge smile and welcome. We sat at the breakfast table and they brought over homemade cakes and amazing meats and cheeses and coffee and juices!! Needless to say we’ll be back. We’re so incredible happy we found this gem in the mountains. Coming from the United States…. It was a dream to live “la dolce vita!”

We resumed making a stop at the ridge to go from Rome to the Dolomites and, in addition to the fresh air and the Apennine landscape, we found new management and renovated rooms. Giusy, a very kind and affable Sicilian, manages the hotel with care and personally prepares the desserts for an excellent breakfast. Clean rooms with pleasantly decorated walls, large bathroom. And for those wishing to stay more than one night, there are many opportunities for trekking and unusual visits such as the Rocchetta Mattei castle.

Non mi sarei mai aspettata di trovare una struttura così bella e ben gestita in mezzo all’appenino tosco emiliano!! Belle e spaziose le camere, decorate con semplicità e gusto. Ottima pulizia e colazione varia ed abbondante. Ma l’accoglienza è il vero fiore all’occhiello di questa struttura! Se capitate da queste parti, fermatevi e…provare per credere!

Ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista!! Pulizia in tutti gli ambienti, letto comodo, bagno accessoriato con tutti gli accessori, doccia funzionante e comoda. Colazione servita a tavolo di ottima qualità. Proprietaria simpaticissima e pronta ad ogni richiesta. Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente buono. Straconsiglio !!!

Hotel moderno, con soluzioni interessanti di decorazione delle pareti. Bell'ascensore . Camera molto spaziosa con finestra panoramica sui colli. Bagno ben attrezzato, ma privo di luce sullo specchio. Buona colazione con scelta fra dolce e salato. Servizio gentile e disponibile.
