Overall the stay is comfortable, clean, and satisfactory..albeit slightly pretentious. There are many cafes, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. There are some things I wish I knew before staying here. Parking is a challenge; there are a few on street parking options that the hotel controls, but if those are full, you don’t have many other options. I actually parked in the lot down in the Ceramic Qtr. (5 min walk up a hill…not good with luggage and terrible if it rains). Breakfast is good, but limited. You choose one of three options the night before and it is served. It is not buffet style.

The hotel is in a beautiful remodeled 17 century building. The room was very nice but the AC was not yet working. Great bathroom and good internet. The problem was it is in restricted area for cars and even taxis would no come to the hotel s door. Not a good place if you have lots of luggage to drag up the cobblestone roads. Although the web sites says restaurant open it is not. The hotel lies in the center of a Labyrinth. The staff could have more helpful but maps were not available.

On May 14, my husband and I stayed in this wonderful hotel in the heart of Grottaglie. To welcome us we found Mrs. Rita and another girl (whose name unfortunately I do not remember), both very kind, who made us feel immediately at home, while in the beautiful and relaxing SPA the sweet Annamaria was waiting for us. he showed us the path we would have taken and followed us step by step, then concluding with a relaxing total body massage ... It was a really beautiful experience definitely to be repeated and that we recommend to all those who want to escape for a day from everyday life. Very comfortable and spotless rooms with a rich breakfast to start the day in the best way. Congratulations to all the Monun Hotel staff and thank you for your helpfulness and courtesy.

Beautiful new boutique hotel in the center of Grotaglie. Nice rooms, nice service, fair prices. The rooms are very beautiful and functional. There are limited parking spaces directly in front of the hotel. The restaurant is currently closed but there are many good places to eat nearby.
