Alpina is not a hotel it is a temple of relaxation, amazing energy and breathtaking views. It never disappoints and we cant wait to return for winter season! Spa experience as always was superb with such a wonderful treatments and amazing personnel! Shoutout to all members of the spa team you all are simply the best and you always take care of every single thing and make sure all is perfect. For sure one of the best spas in the world! Breakfast team incredible kind and assistive, Giovanni, Salvatore and the Italian lady greeting us every morning are all amazing! Housekeeping employees especially Mariana were going above and beyond during our stay, ensuring superb service! Shoutout to our amazing driver Luis Rosa that concierge organized for our arrival/departure pickups. Nadine thank you for making us feel at home, we cant wait to see you and all Alpina Team again for winter season!

The Hotel is absolutely Beautiful !The location , the spa and outdoor heated pool give a unique sense of luxury and comfort. I won’t go point out the attention and the care I received from the people working there, you truly make the difference !

The hotel is situated in the upscale village of Gstaad in the Swiss alps. We stayed here for a night in 2 junior suites. Family of 5. 2 adult kids and a 16 year old. This was in early june. Most of the other hotels in Gstaad were not open yet. We booked the virtuoso rate which came with breakfast as well as a 400 euro food and beverage credit (200 per room). We were able to use that credit for a dinner at their over priced and lackluster sushi restaurant.(The sushi in the United States is way better). But I do appreciate the included free meal. The rooms were immaculate and well decorated in a mountain chic style. Breakfast was good but the hotel has a serious problem with flies. They were everywhere which you don't expect from a hotel of this caliber. There has to be something that can be done. We also enjoyed some snacks on the patio which were very yummy. The grounds of the hotel were also immaculate. The concierge was very helpful in getting us tickets to the glacier 3000 gondola. The entrance to the hotel is pretty spectacular and the hotel smelled really good. Overall an enjoyable experience. Gataad itself is magical.

We are impressed since arriival. Beautiful Alpine Hotel, Staffs are Discreet, friendly and professional. Concierge, Doorman, Bar man are first class service. Feel like home that gives the feeling of cozyness, warm and reliable. Just one thing is about the manager at Megu that gave a bit of unfriendly attitude.

My wife and I and a close friend couple spent 4 nights at The Alpina Gstaad in September and enjoyed every minute of the visit. As others have said, we have traveled extensively and stayed in many 5 star hotels and none anywhere have ever exceeded The Alpina. This hotel is simply amazing. The views from the balcony overlooking town are just breath taking. The rooms and the overall decor are stunning. The service and the staff are first class. The food is Michelin star worthy. The concierge, front desk, spa, pools-are all staffed by friendly, helpful, professional people. We hiked and biked (with Alpina provided excellent E bikes) extensively every day with itineraries planned by the concierge and the staff. Perfect scenic routes and great advice from the Alpina made the days memorable. Spent afternoons in spa, pools, sauna, weight room etc. All outstanding. Perfect hotel. Perfect location. Worth the expense. We can’t recommend the Alpina highly enough. We will definitely return soon. Can’t wait.
