Everything perfect Nice and clean Just feel little bit lack of lights

I had wanted to visit this region for some time and so after an interesting drive we stayed for one night to visit the central historical places of interest and the Christmas decorations,which were very good. The hotel is well located for both and easy walking distance. Our room was comfortable, eventually warm and quiet albeit a bit dusty,and we didn't turn it off until later because it was cold on arrival. By then we were both sneezing from the dust,and so went out. We didn't have breakfast because we thought it to be over priced,and there are plenty of coffee shops close by. Parking was discounted by the hotel,but confusing on exit. Reception staff gave mixed messages on how to exit,neither of which worked! There is street parking close by.

We stayed one night and also parked in the garage.The garage doesn't belong to the hotel but its below the hotel with direct access via a lift. This isn't mentioned on their website. Our room was at the front on the third floor, and was quiet despite being on a busy street.It got lots of sun in the morning which was nice. The room was comfortable and clean.The heating provided quite a bit of dust unfortunately.The bathroom has a walk in shower which was good much better than others where you have to climb over a bath. Toiletries were provided as expected and on tap in the shower area. Robes and slippers would have been nice! No extras for being a member and no upgrade. We didn't have breakfast neither was it suggested on check in. The hotel is very well situated to walk to the main sites, coffee shops,bars and restaurants. Other than being automatically checked out at 7.30 am ( we haven't )we enjoyed our stay and wished we were staying longer. The car park was confusing when trying to pay and exit.The hotel reception staff gave written instructions which didn't work and we spent 15 minutes having to go back up to reception to clarify the process and still it wasn't clear. If our car wasn't loaded up so much we wouldn't park under ground again with all these issues because there is free parking right outside. Whilst this so called secure parking discounted to 12 Euros is available its a real frustration to exit and caused an avoidable delay.

On arrival room fine, couldn't get light to work as put card in wrong..but fine. No restaurant or bar facilities available that evening...poor for a hotel. Had to go outside to eat. On every other evening never anyone serving in "bar" area, call it a bar but its not by any standard. Breakfast bearable but nothing to write home about, pod style coffee. No kettle or drinking facilities in room, and only 2 irons for whole hotel. Parking us very tight to get in and out and has silly intercom twice to get to hotel parking. Didn't eat dinner in hotel and not sure if and when it was open as badly communicated.
