Popular Guadalajara 4-star Hotels

Our 2nd time in the hotel in the past 2 yrs. This time we stayed for 1 night didn't sleep at all due to the street noise until 1 am. They gave us 4th floor where you could hear everything from the busy road. Last time we were in 23rd floor was great. The pillows this time was very small and uncomfortable too. I recommend asking customer which floor they prefer and informing about noise level. Maybe better and bigger pillows should be put in use.

First of all, I loved the location of this hotel. It's right in the historic center and you can walk to so many lovely buildings and museums, and everything you need is right there (shops, pharmacies, restaurants). Upon checking in as a Diamond Hilton member, I was happy to find out they had upgraded me to a room with a nice, spacious balcony with a spectacular view of Guadalajara Cathedral. (See photo) The top-floor restaurant has a similar view as well. The breakfast has a nice, tasty variety. I also enjoyed drinks with a friend at the restaurant on one of the nights. The staff are great and helpful too. Elizabeth really came through for me when I needed to extend my stay a couple nights. Another girl (Anayeri, I think) provided excellent service as well, helping me get my dry cleaning turned in, despite missing the 10am deadline. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and I look forward to staying at this hotel when I return in the future.

Very good, breakfast is average

The hotel is in a nice location, the rooms are clean and big, but especially the hotel staff are very attentive and friendly, Victor in the restaurant section will help you in every way, even the orders that are not on the menu will come from the kitchen immediately. I would like to thank the hotel staff, especially Victor. We stayed for a week at this hotel. The location is centralized and right next to the Plaza del Sol, a large open air shopping center. First and foremost, the service was outstanding. At all times we felt the staff cared and did what they could to help us enjoy our stay. The breakfast at the Cafe Urbano was outstanding with a wide array of freshly prepared and delicious food. The service at the Cafe Urbano deserves special mention. We tried the French restaurant and enjoyed it; tasty French bistro style food and good wine. The club level service was very good, with two hours of a very fine wine. We were pleased with the upgrade that we received due to IHG diamond status; the room had a living room and a ridiculous bathroom. Not many cons; the pool is underwhelming and there did not seem to be many guests. All and all, we felt the famous IHG hospitality and recommend.

If you are looking for a clean and comfortable room at a good rate, this might be the place for someone. A shopping mall is located not far from the hotel which was very convenient. It is true what other people had posted on their reviews in regards of staff efficiency, they are slow on servicing the guests in the hotel. We asked for room slippers and front desk said they where $ 250 Pesos we checked for room amenities on the hotel site and it claimed that slippers where included, we explained this to front desk and never got slippers for our 4 day stay. Perhaps the hotel should change the General Manager.

Great customer service, the entire staff is polite and kind. It is a small property hence the experience is personable. Great location, easy access to all points of the city. The rooms in the back of the building are quiet, great for people that are looking to rest. The reason I gave this property a three start review is the use of the word LUXURY. The decor is posh and modern. The hotel lacks cleanliness in the rooms, amenities and overall experience. The entire place is in desperate need of a remodeling. Our room had a distinctive stench that came out of the bathroom I believe is a combination of poor plumbing and lack good cleaning. I had to ask the maid on our floor to help us get rid of the problem. She came and sprayed the bathroom with an atrocious cinnamon spay which only masked the problem. I asked her to bring me detergent and bleach. I cleaned the bathroom and poured bleach on all drains to get rid of the problem. The cleaning of our room was mediocre. The coffee mugs were not replaced or washed. Breakfast included was ok. The fruit, bread an cereal bar provided a great assortment. They also offer good a la carte options. The restaurant next door is good. The room prices are good so yes, I believe I would return back but now I am fully aware this is not a Luxury Hotel.

A hotel with department services, I love the new hotel, the cleaning of the room and the practicality that you can park your car, I think what could improve is to give you instructions when you arrive, you must park on the S2 and of There you go up to 1 and then change hiss to go to floor 3 at the reception, all this would have been easier if they had explained it to me, but it's just one detail, breakfast is decent but could improve, for example, Capucchino coffee is very bad, I prefer to be covered with me but to be made with a professional machine with real milk, I think they could put toast in the breakfast, but it's okay, they give you fruit, yogurt, bread, and eggs, you can also ask frite eggs if you want it. The terrace of the hotel is divine and to work have a lot of open space, love the hotel, happiness, ah by the way the staff is very kind of all in fact, and that which cleaned my room 1604 was super smile and service.

Great place, comfortable for everyone! Would 100% go there again and would recommend anyone to visit it, went with my friends and really enjoyed the breakfasts they served, also great service from the concierge and the assistant, such a pleasent young lady! I believe her name was Yizel
