(1) The overall cleanliness was extremely poor: the floors were dirty and there were stains and mold in the bathroom, which is unacceptable for any accommodation. I found finger grease on the TV and projector remote controls, which was disgusting.
(2) Two lights in the room were broken: Since there was no physical service counter (this was not mentioned in the introduction), I could only notify the room service staff through WeChat. They apologized but no one came to repair it or to further assist. There is a lamp hanging in the air, tied only by electric wires. There is a risk of it falling down at any time, posing a huge safety hazard.
(3) On the day of check-out, the staff told me that if I left a five-star review on Trip.com, I could get a late check-out. I think this is a bad practice and violates the platform rules. I was relying on visitor reviews and ratings to make my decision and I felt misled and cheated by this practice.
Overall, this is a scam. This place is worse than a B&B. It is misleading to call itself a "hotel apartment". I am very surprised that such quality of accommodation can pass Trip.com's quality control, and it is even more incredible that I still see so many positive reviews and extremely high ratings for this place (4.6/5, Rosewood is only 4.7, 5). This is nothing short of a fraud and as a platform I believe you have a responsibility to ensure that reviews and comments are both fair and reflective of your visitors’ experiences. Trip.com should consider delisting the property until necessary improvements are made to protect the rights, interests and safety of its customers, as well as the reputation of the platform.
