Yuting PLUS Hotel (Guangzhou Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street Hualinsi Subway Station)

I’ve stayed at Yuting PLUS Hotel multiple times, and it continues to be one of my go-to hotels in Guangzhou. Even before it was opened and during its renovation I stayed there until it is today. Pros: 1. Excellent location—right in the heart of the city and business area. 2. It's literally in the middle of ShangXiaJiu pedestrian street, so food, shopping, and everything else is just steps away. 3. Halal food options are nearby, which is a big plus for Muslim travellers. 4. The room design is clean and modern—simple but cozy. 5. Staff were super friendly and helpful—they helped me book taxis, print documents, receive and refund parcels, and even carried my luggage without hesitation. 6. Very affordable and great value for the price. Cons: 1. The bathroom doesn’t come with a bidet. 2. The room is a bit small, but it’s manageable. 3. Cigarette smell in the hallway and elevator area. 4. The elevator doesn’t go straight to the hotel—stops at other floors like 2, 3, and 4, so it can get quite busy. That said, we really didn’t mind the small inconveniences because the price, service, and location make up for it. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Staffs at lobby were very helpful. The 1st day they helped me book my taxi and search for the appropriate address on map for me. One of the staff even went outside to stop a taxi and explain in chinese where to go exactly. Nice place to stay, many food, 7 Eleven and a Mc Donald just outside. Breakfast finished at 9am which is too early, 10.30am would be perfect. There's a Free coffee, juice, cappuccino dispenser at the lounge where we can serve ourselves at any time.

Rooms are very small. There’s no point in paying for a room with a window. The window leads to an indoor mall which means (a) you’re not getting any fresh air, (b) you’re not getting any view of the outside world, and (c) people in the mall can easily see into your room if open the curtains. Also, the shower has no doors which means water easily gets all over the place.

The room was very clean and modern! And there is a water cooler that can used outside, very convenient no need to buy lots of extra water. It’s nearby lots of food and shopping, quite close to the MRT also. However room was a bit on the cramped side, not a lot of room to move around or if you have large suitcases.

The location is good, besides that its not much of a use. I specifically booked a room with window. Turns out, the window opens inside a mall, so everyone walking in the mall can see you in your room. The worst thing of all, they dont have air conditioning, they have air-con but it can only heat. So we were basically sleeping in hot microwave. I complained at the reception but no action was taken.

Hotel room is clean & comfortable , great location shopping street & malls all nearby food and beverage restaurant all around and metro station , the friendly front desk staff is so helpful even help us to get our luggages out to the taxi ,
