DeMu Boutique Hostel (Beijing Road Store)

The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It is a warm and cozy apartment, my families and I spent good time in this apartment for 4 nights. The location is perfect, 3 -5 mins walk to Beijing Road and the big buddha temple. Check in process were smooth and easy, the person in charge was really nice to guide us and help to bring our luggage to the room. They also help to receive all the parcels we bought earlier before we checked in. The apartment has all the amenities that you need, they are also quick response to all your enquiries through WeChat. We will stay again if we are back to GZ. Thanks!

Excellent for families. Nice room with 2 queen beds in the loft, and one sofa bed on the main floor. Within walking distance of key sights like Beijing Street and the Guangdong Museum.

Great hospitality of reception who accommodated us even though we made a mistake in the location of the stay. My group was given 2 apartments at a different location, but the hostel was willing to make some adjustments and allowed us to stay where we arrived at. We were able to have a view of the city from our window. The apartment has a loft that consist of two queen size beds, with a third bed in the living room. The stay was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The apartment came with a washing machine, hair dryer, a small fridge. The heated toilet seat was a welcome surprise in the cold weather. However, the disposable towels were something we need to get us to. The shower door of 1618 was not gliding well. Getting around was easy with Didi ride in the wechat app, very affordable and convenient. Many restaurants around the area.

Location was fantastic and we are right in the middle of the cultural district with interesting cafes and super close proximity to popular tourist spot Beijing Road. There were plenty of food options downstairs of the building the apartment was located in including a chuan chuan place that opens till 5am in the morning! Beds were a tad firmer but overall we had quite a good rest. There are 3 queen sized beds so this place is good for a group of friends or families. However do note that there is only one bathroom which I find too few for such a big group. Though, there wasn't any problem with hot water and there's also a washing machine for those who need it. Service was top notch as the butlers of the apartment made sure to help us on the arrangement of our airport transfer and given that we had an early flight, they tried their best to allow us to store our luggage which ended up as an early check in to our surprise. They also helped us to manage our taobao orders everyday which was wonderful. Thank you! P.s. They provide toothbrushes and shampoo/body wash. They also provide disposable towels - my suggestion is to bring your own towel if you're uncomfortable with using that.
