Our stay at the Sun Yat-sen University Kaifeng Hotel in Guangzhou was enjoyable—until checkout.
As I stood at the front desk, I noticed two receptionists engrossed in conversation, completely ignoring me. Then, a man walked up and cut in front of me, and one of the receptionists immediately assisted him without hesitation. Frustrated, I had no choice but to “rudely” step forward and insist on checking out.
After completing the process, I walked away from the front desk, unaware that someone’s spilled water bottle had left the floor wet. The moment I stepped on the slick spot, I lost my balance and nearly fell. My heart pounded in shock. Just then, a cleaning lady approached and casually mentioned that she was about to clean it. But why wasn’t there a warning sign?
Meanwhile, the hotel staff simply stood by, watching without taking any action. Their indifference and lack of professionalism were truly disappointing.
Oh a four stars hotel !!

First time staying here, very clean and quiet, the pier is right outside, it's very convenient to take a taxi or get takeout, and the kids like it too. The room service and front desk service are very friendly, I will stay here again in the future and will recommend it to my friends

They stayed for 5 nights and my parents were very satisfied. The hotel is at the north gate of Sun Yat-sen University, facing the river, and opposite Ersha Island. As soon as you go out, you will see the Sun Yat-sen University archway, and next to it is the Sun Yat-sen University Pier, from which you can board a boat for a night cruise on the Pearl River. The hotel is also very close to the Guangzhou Tower, about 2 kilometers on foot. If you are not in a hurry, you can walk along the river to the Guangzhou Tower.
