Siji Apartment (Guangzhou Zhujiang New Town Wuyangcun Subway Station)

This property is falsely advertised as a hotel on Trip.com. It is a service apartment, not affiliated with the Four Seasons Hotel, despite the listing’s deceptive screenshots. The building was difficult to locate due to this misleading branding. While the staff upgraded my room and were responsive to my calls, this did little to compensate for the overall experience. The “upgraded” room was poorly maintained—scuffed walls, worn furniture, and general neglect evident in the photos I’ve attached. The location is somewhat central (340m to the Metro), but the walk is unsheltered and inconvenient during the rainy season. The worst part? Cleanliness was appalling! I was handed a shower towel with **dried mucus (boogers)** stuck to it—an absolute dealbreaker that left me disgusted. Basic hygiene should be non-negotiable for any accommodation. The bed was comfortable, but that’s the only positive in an otherwise unacceptable stay. Avoid this place unless you’re willing to gamble on misleading ads, subpar upkeep, and revolting cleanliness standards.

This is not a hotel. It's in a residential building. Overall location is good but their rooms really need maintenance. Paint was chipping and the door opening inside the bathroom obstructed everything! (Quick tip; please change the direction of the bathroom door to swing outwards, it'll make the small bathroom bearable)

This is a scam hotel. The rooms are completely different from the pictures shown on Ctrip. Despite many traveler complaints, Ctrip has done nothing and continues to allow this hotel to use misleading photos. In my opinion, Trip.com is also complicit in this scam by failing to take action. They ruined my trip. The receptionist wasn't at his place and I was waiting long time until he showed up.
