This is a long-standing five-star hotel with an excellent location, making it very convenient for getting around. The mattress and bedding are extremely comfortable, and the room is well soundproofed, ensuring a great night's sleep. The pool and gym are free for guests and are well-equipped. The service is attentive and thorough, leading to an overall satisfying stay. It's perfect for travel and leisure.

The room was really old, with low ceilings and dim lighting. Later, I found peanut shells under the kids' swing that hadn't been cleaned up 😓. The sheets and duvet were damp, making for a very uncomfortable sleep, and the sheets even had a small tear (I forgot to take a picture). The parking lot was in disrepair, with very few charging stations and no fast chargers for electric cars, only slow ones. The hotel had a lot of people from the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and there was a constant smell in the air 😓. Only later did I realize the area is known for Xiaobei and Taojin stations in Guangzhou 😓. Overall, it's definitely not suitable for traveling with children. I probably didn't do enough research and just looked at the photos showing a family room and a kids' playground. The hotel's kids' playground was also very small and run-down. Looking at the tourist map in the lobby, I probably came to the wrong place…

This is a classic hotel in the heart of Guangzhou, and its location is really good. The exterior also looks quite grand. The rooms are spacious, and the views from them are very nice. You can also go up to the 63rd floor for an even better view. Breakfast was decent, but it was a shame that during my three-day stay, the noodle station only had a chef on the last morning. I found the front desk service quite subpar. I waited in line for ages, and several male receptionists kept ignoring me or shunting me to a different queue. They were busy chatting casually with the guests in front of them and didn't bother calling the next person. They spent half an hour on pointless conversation, and it felt like it would never end. I was so annoyed waiting that they finally called out a female receptionist from the back to help me with my room card. Also, in the lobby, we were dragging our luggage around, and no staff member came over to offer assistance. Overall, I felt there was hardly any service. There's no self-service laundry room, which I think is a significant drawback. Since there are no room service robots, I had to go up and down to collect my food orders every time, which was a real hassle. The room hygiene was good, but I find it incredibly stingy for a five-star hotel to charge for a tiny bit of coke and other items in the minibar. Many hotels now offer complimentary minibars. To sum it up: excellent location, outdated facilities, and a poor service experience.

My top choice for business trips to Guangzhou. As always, the room is spacious, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast offers a wide variety, and the service is meticulous. The concierge staff was very helpful, and Mandy from the service center provided excellent care.

Excellent service, convenient transportation, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is well-equipped, and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job, always proactively refilling the water. This is my sixth time staying here.

Extremely Poor Stay | Outdated Facilities, Terrible Service, Serious Health and Safety Hazards My stay at this hotel with two young children was an utterly dreadful experience, completely failing to meet standard hotel service expectations. I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone! 1. **Severely Outdated Facilities, Equipment Malfunctions Affecting Basic Stay** The hotel's facilities are generally old and rundown. On the first night, the air conditioning in our initial room was completely inoperable, making the room abnormally cold. The freezing temperatures at night made it impossible for both adults and children to rest properly. 2. **Front Desk and Staff Attitude: Perfunctory, Arrogant, and Extremely Unprofessional** Around 11 PM that night, I immediately reported the AC malfunction to the hotel. The staff only gave a perfunctory reply that they would notify engineering to pick up the repair order, unable to provide a specific time for their arrival or guarantee repair efficiency. Being exhausted mentally and physically, with two young children late at night, I had no idea how long we would have to wait indefinitely. I repeatedly urged them and pleaded for a room change, but customer service still delayed action, using the excuse of 'a long queue at the front desk.' Their attitude throughout was arrogant and cold, completely lacking empathy or customer service awareness, demonstrating a severe lack of professionalism. Ultimately, after my persistent efforts, the hotel reluctantly arranged a room change. The entire process was a prolonged hassle, severely disrupting our rest. 3. **Room Hygiene Severely Substandard, Dangerous Safety Hazard Present (Glass Shards)** The morning after moving to the new room, I discovered sharp glass shards on the bed where my child was sleeping! When I later reported this to the front desk and housekeeping staff, the housekeeper argued that 'the sheets are shaken and cleaned every time they are changed.' Yet, dangerous glass shards remained on the bed, proving that the hotel's cleaning procedures are completely perfunctory and inspections are merely a formality. It was incredibly lucky that the shards did not cut the two children; they only scratched an accompanying adult. Had a child come into contact, the consequences would be unimaginable. The hotel's hygiene and safety are completely inadequate, showing a disregard for guests' personal safety, especially children's! **Summary Review** The entire stay was an extremely poor experience: dilapidated and malfunctioning facilities, arrogant and perfunctory staff, extremely low efficiency, and significant safety hazards due to poor room hygiene. As a hotel open for business, failing to provide even the most basic functional equipment, a clean and safe living environment, and fundamental polite service is utterly disappointing. I sincerely do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families with young children!
