Lazy Gaga Youth Hostel

The first room they gave me (8pax female room) smelled a lot like pee. I told the receptionist, and she said that many small kids had slept there the day before, and gave me a bed in a different room. The new room also smelled like pee, but less. The toilets didn't seem clean. There was no hand soap in any of the toilets. The whole place smelled like what they call "stinky tofu", not a very pleasant smell. The room was quiet nevertheless, which is positive. But the place is quite run-down, it needs some love, renivations and a deep clean! Although the bed-sheets were clean and smelled good. The neighborhood is somewhat charming, probably my favorite in the city, with old colonial buildings, lots of shops and small alleys and markets to explore.

Cleanliness is average but accepatable. The location is a strong point of the place. Shampoo and shower gel are provided in bath room but no label attached and the cream is the same. So I assumed that we can use for hair and body. I will be back to stay in the next time.

Its an old hotel but rooms are big. Dormitory bunk beds are large and comfortable. We have washing machine and its paid service and kitchen is shared by guests. Kitchen gets dirty and messy as many people use it. Location Is perfect.
