Guangzhou Liwan District Hotels

The hotel staff attitude and friendliness from the point of arrival until we check out has been excellent. Especially Mr Jimmy, the Asst. Front Office Mgr and Conceige Mr Edan Yang. Eden has gone out of his way to give us the IHG vibe where service is at its highest. Thank you to all the crew at Reception. That's why I'm going back for another stay before I leave Guangzhou. The only dissatisfaction is the charging points are limited and the speed is slow.

Excellent services and great facilities. Front desk manager Ms. Yan did a fabulous job to meet our needs by having an engineer to solve the voltage conversion problem, she recommended room change for the best view, and offered us various dining options with great deal. Our first stay for about a week. The guest relationship offered us a free upgrade for our second stay (for about two weeks), which made us very happy and feeling warm. The concierge and the restaurant personnels are very professional and polite, the food is super delicious! We are truly very satisfied with our stay in white swan hotel. Definitely we will recommend it to all friends and will stay again in white swan hotel in near future.

I have to say, best stay I can book, staff was super helpful , cleanliness on spot, location on spot, everything was amazing Room was super hi-tech, amenities u name and it was there . It was a great stay I love to go back

Poor location, no sign board to indicate the hotel. All the drivers we took cannot find the location of the hotel. Eventually we found the hotel, the driver cannot drive us directly to the hotel lobby we have to carry our luggage and walk quite a long distance. The last day after we check out, we have to walk in the rain to take a ride to the airport.

This stay was a real surprise! As soon as I opened the door, I was struck by the fresh smell in the room. There was no stuffy odor, but a light natural scent that made people relax all of a sudden. What satisfied me most was that the floor was high enough. The moment I opened the curtains, the view was suddenly clear, and the street view and skyline in the distance were in full view. The hustle and bustle of the day was very lively, and it was even more beautiful when the lights came on at night. The room was clean and tidy, the facilities were very considerate, and the stay was very comfortable. I will choose this hotel next time I come~

Convenient location for markets. Bed bugs in the bed for the ones that can’t handle it, I’m still scratching from last night and couldn’t sleep before 5 am because scratching woke me up after one hour of sleep. I don’t really recommend The night staff is nice

Staff are friendly and polite. Bathroom was a bit dirty and could use a deep clean. Room was relatively quiet, which was a bonus. The room would be a very tight squeeze for 2 people with a suitcase each. Location wise, it's close to the metro and many shops, but not as close to the main attractions. That was my fault as I did not research the location properly. I would probably stay on the other side of the river next time. However, this location is perfect if you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, while still being able to easily access places by bus and metro.

This hotel is only few steps away from Metro and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian which is one of the tourist spot. It is near in shopping and food area. The room that we got is new renovated and the toilet and lights are very high technology. Still have a language barriers that leads to miscommunication and loosing patience so some staff is becoming rude but others are still nice and good. It is understandable to ask for our contact numbers but not to the point to ask each and everyone’s contact number including minor kids which does not have their own mobile phone. Cleanliness is so so since we can smell cigarette. But total in total rate and location is very recommendable.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. Basically we enjoyed the stay despite it’s not a 5star hotel. Location - it’s near the Line 1 of the Metro (Huangsha Station) (exit B). However Exit B is only equipped with Staircases , hence for those that travel with big luggages, you may proceed to enter the connecting mall (Link Plaza) and take the escalator to one floor up. Look for the direction to Huawei Store, the exit to the main road is just to the left of the store. Then proceed to use the AMAP and look for the direction to hotel. The hotel is also located at the heart of Yong Qing Fang , the old Guangzhou city that once lived the noble families during the olden times. You can have the whole area to yourself for photo takings after the tourist left. Service - Fast check in and check out. No need to pay any deposit upon check in. There were also mung bean soup (cold) for us when we check in. Bedroom - we were on 5th floor , same place with the Yun restaurant (which served breakfast). The room is enough for 2 person, however for those traveling with more than 2 suitcases , there might be problem with the spaces as it can be quite pack. The location of the wash basin outside the toilet does not really appeal to us as well as the area will be wet after we brushed our teeth / washed face. For those that speaks Mandarin, you can use the AI machine (Xiao Tu) to control the lighting, curtains and air conditioning. For me , I’ll just use the control panel placed next to the main entrance as well as beside the bed. Breakfast - nothing much , just a small section of continental as well as western food. However the dim sum is good. Gym / self service laundry - did not try these therefore not able to review Roof top - can take beautiful picture as well as the famous moon bridge but do remember to spray some mosquito repellent which we found them in the room before hand. (for those travelling during summer) Travel time to airport - for those leaving Guangzhou by flight , the time to travel to airport is around 1 hour. (We booked the airport transfer via Trip.com. The driver picked us up directly from the hotel. According the the hotel staff , if we were to travel via subway/metro, it will take around 1 hour and 30 mins with around 2 or 3 transfers.
