Hôtel plutôt bien placé dans le centre de la ville de Gueret.
Personnel accueillant et professionnel. Petit bémol si l’hôtel est bien complet le bruit car mal insonorisé. L’hôtel a besoin d’un peu de modernité car il fait vieillot.

The site (via *******) says secure parking, which was one of our filters to book. When we arrived- nil parking- just had to wait on street & in a town so unsure how safe this would have been & took ages to find anywhere to stop. Receptionist unhelpful & place is so busy with poor or no air-conditioning. We said we were not happy & ******* called on our behalf to see if we could cancel, they then cancelled before we could find an alternative place to stay & said they were full so we had no booking & we had to pay £50 extra after 8pm to find an alternative place to stay. Should NOT advertise a service they don't have.

I had also chosen this hotel for the on-site restaurant, but when we arrived we noticed that it was closed, but it is well located in relation to the city centre. The rooms are very basic with old-fashioned decor but clean. The swimming pool is great, quiet at the back of the hotel. We only stayed one night, but that was enough as a stopover.

The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. Simple but functional hotel, clean and consistent with its description. Room with terrace view, very quiet. Room equipped with air conditioning mini-bar. It is quite easy to find a parking space in the adjacent street. Charging stations for electric vehicles on the square 300 meters away. Excellent breakfast, with many local products. Restaurant with terrace in the garden. Good meat served, although the cooking is a little too thorough (requested medium and served rather well cooked).

Very well-kept hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and pleasant room. Located in the city center. Not far from the train station. We don't expect to see a swimming pool. However, there are no sockets at the head of the bed, and the air conditioning, we were very very hot!!!

Average hotel, old and overheated, with a property to improve Coffee machine broken for breakfast No parking so system D, Maybe the swimming pool is nice on sunny days! I don't think I'll go back even if the staff is smiling

One night stay while visiting family. Simple but comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. Good breakfast and a nice outdoor area with pool. Few staff but welcoming nonetheless. The style is reminiscent of old English hotels.

No heating, the additional heating does not work and the person at reception does not seem very concerned. Very little light in the bathroom and no heating. Itchy towels😜 Breakfast with local products but very expensive for the choice
