We stayed at the Bayside Salgados for 10 days during June, all in all a very pleasant experience, the rooms are spacious and clean and contain all you need for a self catering holiday, the aircon is more than capable of keeping cool even in the hottest of weather. The pool area is spotlessly clean and we never had any problems getting a sunbed even into the afternoon. The hotel is in a quiet location not far from a local shop and bakery with a few of very good restaurants withing easy walking distance. We used Uber taxis to visit nearby towns which cost about £6 each way, Albufiera is a noisy bustling place on an evening, Armacao de Pera is quieter. The staff at the hotel were all very good but a special mention must go to Joseph who runs the bar on an evening and who was very helpful and informative as well as very good at his job, it would be extremely difficult to find fault with this hotel, we would highly recommend it.

Booked 9 nights still got a couple of nights left, thought I’d do a review now .. Bayside is so clean , our rooms was cleaned everyday :) There’s a shop within ten mins walk , nice little snack bar next door to the apartments Salgados Beach 15 mins walk Aldi about 10 mins away with a few snack bars close by, marina within 10 mins fat cats and was lovely & great entertainment .. We got taxis / bolt taxis everywhere wasn’t a problem as we budgeted for them before arriving .. cost around €8-13 euros We went to algarve shopping mall was nice to explore there shops, old towns beautiful , We’ve stayed in the busy parts a lot of times we do prefer the bayside it’s quiet & enough sunbeds :) All the staff at bayside are really helpful & friendly , foods nice there & plenty of drink options Would defiantly stay here again in future

This hotel is lovely. The staff are amazing, every single one of them. We met people that come back there regularly. It is a very quiet area but if you have the Uber App it is a cheap way to get around ( I had never used it until I went there ) The rooms are lovely and are cleaned 6 out of 7 days, the ladies are so polite and thoughtful. Pool area is clean and comfortable water cold but that’s the same in most places,I think. We had drinks in the bar had wine with 1 ice cube every time 😊. There is a really good snack bar at te end of the road , family run business excellent food and again such lovely staff. We ventured in to Albufeira a couple of times not too rowdy during the day but, I think it gets pretty wild at night.

Just back from a lovely 3night break. From the minute we arrived the staff were so helpful and pleasant. We arrived around 10pm and they made sure that we were still able to order food. We had a one bed apartment and it was clean and very adequate for what we needed. The poolside was also very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also very nice and had selection of cereals/hot food/sweet treats. We were a little out of the way and needed an Uber to go into the Old Town, which ranged from 7-9euros. We were walking distance from local super market and beach. There were also a few restaurants within walking distance, although we didnt go to them this time as it was a short break. It was great as we wanted a quiet break away from all the hussle/bussle but still have the option to not be too far away from it. We would definitely go back to these apartments, and would recommend. Excellent staff/cleanliness/value for money.

I have to write an honest review. Originally we were put into an apartment that was Definitely sub standard and not fit for purpose, however next day we complained and the manager moved us to an excellent apartment that made up for the original booking. I would advise to book the more modern apartments as the older ones are very dated and not worth paying for. The apartments are also a 15 min walk from the local shop and further from Aldi.
