Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Guilin

This is a local 5 star hotel facing the Sun and Moon pagoda and walking distance to the Elephant trunk hill. The hotel is a bit old but still maintain well. Breakfast is excellent .

We spent 2 nights at Sheraton hotel in Guilin. The hotel is located very centrally in walking distance to most major tourist attractions and close to Guilin railway station. The staff was very attentive and absolutely accomodating for all of our wishes making our experience very memorable. The interior design of the hotel is well thought out and gives it a simple but elegant touch. The facilities include small swimming pool which we couldn't try due to the weather situation. The gym consisted of a handful of cardio treadmills and machines for resistance training from Life Fitness with an area in the corner with dumbells and foam rollers, yoga mats. The changing room came with a sauna. We can recommend the breakfast buffet which is a mix of Western breakfast and local specialties from Guilin. Out of the available package options we really enjoyed the photo shoot where they provide makeup and clothes(classy/elegant and Guilin traditional) to capture the amazing moments from the trip.

My family checked in on Oct 24. We stayed for 3 nights. We were happy with our stay in this hotel and would recommend friends to stay in. We also had our rooms upgraded to larger units. Prior to that, we had a warm reception by Xiao Wan and he even personally helped to bring our luggage to our rooms. He also recommended places to eat and visit. There were welcome fruit and sweet snacks and even brewed desert of white fungus for each of us which we never had before on our trips.. The views from the restaurant on the 7th floor were fantastic. We wished we had stayed longer. We will definitely stay in this hotel when we visit Guilin again.

This is a great hotel if you are interested in resting for a day in the middle of your trip. The location is good, 10 minutes away walking from a pedestrian street with plenty of establishments and restaurants. The hotel offers great views with included free activities, in which I took part of two: the Miao Ethnicity photoshoot session and the ******* bowl sound healing. It has a pool which unfortunately I couldn't try as I'm traveling in March, and is too cold, but I did enjoy the terrace views during both day and night. The butler service is quite attentive, answering quickly to our doubts and offered a plate of fresh fruit upon arrival. We didn't eat in the hotel, instead we preferred to order from outside, and a Keenon delivery robot makes sure to deliver the order directly to your room. The suite was spacious and clean, with a lovely decor. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it for families and couples.

Fantastic stay, clean and very modern design. Love the design, have charger cable in room, free mini bar and shower room is huge and clean. Staffs very friendly and helpful. Will recommend this hotel to anyone who plan to visit Guilin.

The hotel is located in the centre of vibrant Guilin city. Reachable with Didi and within walking distance to Sun and Moon Pagodas, Elephant Trunk Hill, Love Park and the busy West Street pedestrian walk where you can find plenty of eats and other products. Local delecacies and fashion is also available. The room was spacious and clean. Washroom was good too. The only disappointment was the aircond system. Even though it was really hot outside, we could not lower the aircond temperature at all. At night, the aircond stops and restarts all the time. Perhaps a system glitch. Checkin was fast with Trip.com bookings and staff were really helpful with suggestions and directions. Breakfast was nice with local flavours plus western touch. Overall, a hotel we strongly recommend whenever coming in to Guilin. Attractions are near but let's start walking.

A Truly Memorable Stay at Shangri-La Guilin Our recent stay at the Shangri-La Hotel Guilin was an absolute delight. Her dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was truly commendable. She went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially as we were celebrating my wife's birthday. The thoughtful room decorations and the delicious complimentary cake were a wonderful surprise. Luna's insightful recommendations for local attractions were also invaluable, allowing us to discover hidden gems in the city. The hotel's well-maintained gym was another highlight of our stay. The state-of-the-art equipment and serene ambiance provided the perfect setting for a rejuvenating workout. We would also like to express our appreciation to Catherine, our talented photographer. Her photography skills were exceptional, capturing the beauty of the surroundings while providing a mini tour guide. Overall, our experience at the Shangri-La Hotel Guilin was truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and personalized stay in Guilin.

Overall a very nice hotel but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. In my opinion it's more of a 3-4 star boutique hotel. The room was very large and nice, with 3 panoramic windows to the courtyard in front of the entrance. No unpleasant smells, one window with mosquito net. The TV didn't work, meaning it didn't have regular channels connected. The bathroom very large but unfortunately without any heating. In my opinion too cold for a bath or shower. Leaving the door to the room open and raising the room thermostat to 30 degrees Celsius didn't change anything. Welcome fruits were very nice. Free afternoon tea modest, exactly as shown on the photo during booking. Amenities with too strong for my taste, masculine smell. Based on the number of seats in the dining room (only 24), I think it's a really small hotel, so the breakfast had a very limited choice and quantity, but it was tasty. At the check out each guest receives a pack of local tea. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is connected by bus 18 or 100 with Guilin North station but I don't recommend taking bus. First of all, tickets from Guangzhou or Shenzhen should work, but they didn't, and neither did Allipay. One ticket costs 2 yuan, and you can pay in cash. More importantly, there is no overground crossing between the nearest bus stop and the hotel. You have to use an underground passage [a lot of stairs, no lift], and with suitcases it's a big problem. In the other direction, from the hotel to the station, there's no such problem. Taxi cost around 0.25 euros per kilometer.
