This stay was perfect, and I have to give the Hyatt Regency Guiyang five-star rating! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the enthusiastic concierge quickly came to help with the luggage, with a sincere smile on his face, which instantly dissipated the fatigue of the journey. The front desk employee Xiao Yuan checked in efficiently and considerately. Room: Stayed on the 27th floor in one of the executive rooms and it definitely was not executive. Luxury was definitely lacking as most of the interior in the bathroom/shower bath area was old and in need of help. The closet was so dusty inside too. However the room itself was nice enough with a big enough bed and a good view of the city. Complimentary fruit was there on arrival but compared to other executive rooms in hotels it missed the personal touch. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was fine enough with cakes, salad and some hot dishes alongside fruit and beverages. Would be nice if they offered wine though. Staff: staff here are wonderful. Very attentive and cheerful. Cleaners, waiters, reception and everything in between- all lovely people. Breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the highlight. Absolutely delicious and such a wide variety of to choose. Western and Chinese dishes are available with plenty of fruit and bakery items too. Fantastic. Location: Easy enough to reach plenty of attractions and snack street is very close by. Overall a pleasant stay.

I chose this hotel on my way to Guiyang, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. I would like to thank my personal butler Elsa for her considerate service. She called in advance to let me know that the location was difficult to find, and told me the detailed location on WeChat. She also provided pillows in advance and put them in the room in advance. After arriving, we did not ask the staff to park the car, but drove to the parking lot by ourselves. The security guards in the underground parking lot were very enthusiastic to help guide the parking spaces and help take the luggage to the elevator. The suite I booked is two separate rooms with a separate corridor. The room is spacious and clean, and fruit plates and snacks are prepared. There is also a children's exclusive toiletries set. When I opened the night room at night, I also received a facial mask, snacks and drinks. In the morning, because I got up late and my child had online classes, Elsa arranged for breakfast to be delivered to the room. I went to the restaurant for lunch at noon, and even the chef who cooked noodles was very enthusiastic. After checking out, Elsa also greeted me and prepared souvenirs. This is a very recommended hotel, and the service exceeds that of many five-star hotels. I will choose here next time I come to Guiyang.

Our 5-day, 4-night trip to Guiyang, the first two nights were in the city, and the last two nights were Anantara micro-vacation. Environment: We were in December and there was actually nothing fun, but we came to rest so we were very satisfied, and we also took travel photos. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and patiently answered any questions I had. They also prepared small gifts for guests. The only downside to the room was that the carpet was too dirty and looked dirty. Everything else was fine.

On March 19, the last night of our Guizhou trip, we chose Kempinski, a 5-star old hotel. Our comments on the hotel are as follows: Location: Very convenient for shopping and nearby restaurants. Service: The hotel front desk, restaurant dining and lobby luggage handling services are all at the level of a five-star hotel. From check-in to check-out, I felt the respect and courtesy of the staff. Environment: The hotel lobby is elegantly decorated and the environment is quiet and comfortable. As you walk into the corridor, you can smell the faint fragrance. There is also an air purifier, which is a very thoughtful detail. Room: Of course, it is gorgeous and spacious, which is the consistent style of this hotel brand. Bathroom: Very clean and tidy, with high-quality smart toilets and shower products. Breakfast: A combination of Chinese and Western food with a wide variety of choices. The food is very fresh and the overall standard is high quality and tastes good. Finally, I would like to thank the front desk clerk Jeff Wang for his thoughtful help to the guests. The reason is that when I was traveling in Guizhou, the tour guide forced me to shop and I was cheated out of money in a black shop, which made me lose confidence in Guizhou's tourism culture. Jeff listened carefully to our experience and enthusiastically helped us complain to the local tourism bureau. Before we left the hotel, he told us that he had informed the local tourism management unit in Guizhou and told us not to worry. In the end, the incident was resolved satisfactorily. This is a great hotel to stay in with amazing views and amenities. It’s always a pleasure to stay here. The staff is always helpful and I’m so glad I met Shauna (Wang Cong). She was very helpful and was able to speak fluent English (which is really helpful when your Chinese isn’t the best)

First the part that I like - 1. Location is convenient: Subway station is right at the door, where you can arrive at major points of the city without many connections on the ground. 2. Food: One breakfast is included in my rate. Adding one costs only US$4. The variety of food is blowing me away. Without exaggeration you won’t repeat what you eat in a week if you pick only five items each day. Think about what’s provided in US hotel for $15. Only $4 here - unbelievable! 3. Staff are very courteous and helpful, from front desk to cleaning personnel, and room services. You’ll receive instant response to address your need whenever you raise it. 4. Facility: It was put in operation in 2022 so everything is new and maintained well. It had indoor swimming pool, gym, billiard room (even one for snook), and ping pong room. It is purposed to host large conferences/events. Now the part that I think they can do better - 1. Smoking: It’s not smoking prohibited hotel, which is pretty common in China, especially not the first tier cities. But they don’t assign some rooms to be non-smoking. Instead, all rooms are smoking permitted and it is allowed in most public areas too. Though this might be OK for domestic visitors, it can be an unflavored factor to people from abroad. 2. Laundry: It doesn’t provide self-served laundry. There is laundry service but it costs dearly going by items.
