Property is located in Gumlog and is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The neighborhood roads are privately maintained and a great place for walks and to enjoy nature. Tugaloo State Park is 2 miles away from the cottage and offers trails, swimming, and boat ramp. Repeat visitors
Storms had done som damage, but owners called ahead of our stay to inform us. Most repair work had been completed. Excellent stay for fathers day and our sons birthday.

Great getaway

Perfect Hidden Gem
The house was the perfect size for just the two of us. We got away while the kids were at camp for a working week. The house was fully stocked with everything that we needed. They even allowed us to check out late since we had the boat with us. A word of caution. If you need to store your trailer at the house while there. Be aware that the roads are small and tight. It took my skilled husband to get it backed into the lot. Other than that. It was perfect!

Heavenly Hartwell Hiatus

Wonderful weekend getaway
We had so much fun on our weekend stay here. The home is immaculately clean, smells wonderful & has the cutest décor! You can see the lake from the living room window - the walk down to the dock is easy & the dock itself is amazing! Definitely recommend!

Summer Rental
We decided to rent this adorable lakefront cottage for 6 weeks of the summer. It was very convenient for us since we live about 35 minutes away.
We were able to keep our jet ski at the lake and enjoy afternoons on the dock, in a quiet cove.
The house is beautifully updated and comfortable. The neighborhood is also quiet and nice for walks and our son enjoyed riding his bike up and down the hills. We enjoyed evening fires in the firepit area, and sat on the porch with our morning coffee, looking out over the lake.
The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean.
We spent 6 weeks making a lifetime of memories as a family. The location on the lake is very close to Harbor Light Marina. We drove our ski over and had dinner at Tillly’s Tiki Hut and it was a great environment.
The property owners were wonderful and check-in and check-out was east and convenient.
Our son is already asking if we can do this again next summer.
We would highly recommend this property!
