I stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends. The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice and was well laid out. It is in the centre so there are bar and restaurants a short walk away. All in all a pleasant stay. Thanks

We ended up in Hotel Altstadt out of interest for the artist Ernst Barlach and were a bit apprehensive when arriving by train to Guestrow. We were pleasantly surprised, the hotel is friendly and comfortable, and our room was of a good size with excellent beds. We slept very well. Breakfast was varied and good. The hotel is centrally located in the town and we were able to walk to most sights.

-sehr schöne saubere Zimmer mit allen Komfort -sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal -kleine Kaffeetheke für den Kaffee zwischendurch ist eine super Idee -für das Abbestellen des Zimmerservices erhält man ein Glas Honig-tolle Idee (für 2 Nächte braucht man keinen Zimmerservice)

Wir waren einige Tage in Güstrow und für unseren Aufenthalt war die Lage des Hotels perfekt. Die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr schön, das Frühstück ließ nichts vermissen. Das Personal war stets außerordentlich freundlich. In der Adventszeit war das Haus liebevoll weihnachtlich geschmückt und sehr heimelig. Wir haben bereits jetzt schon den nächsten Aufenthalt gebucht.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Altstadt und an den sehr interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Zimmer war ansprechend , sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Service sehr gut. Das Frühstück war liebevoll angerichtet und vielseitig. Besonders angenehm war, dass man sich auch außerhalb der Frühstückszeit ein Kaffeegetränk holen konnte. Ein rundum schöner Aufenthalt. Es wäre schön, wenn man vorab über die check-in Zeit informiert würde ( fehlt auf der Website).

Gute Leistung zum angemessenen Preis. Kritikpunkte sind die unangemessenen Saisonpreise (Leben mit der Baustellensituation in der Stadt, das Hotel selbst bietet am Abend leider keine Möglichkeiten außer TV), das sehr kleine und enge Bad, sowie die Kleinigkeiten im Saunabereich.
