It is located right near Sokodo Port. I reserved a twin bed + Japanese-style room on the second floor. Although the building is not new, it was comfortable. Take off your shoes and put them in the shoe box, then go up the stairs to your room where you will find a shared refrigerator and microwave. It was a hassle to go and pick it up, but I didn't have to worry about it because the larger one cooled down better. You can see the sunrise from your room window. There seem to be a lot of humpback whales these days, and if you're lucky you can see them. Dinner cannot be eaten at the hotel and there are no restaurants nearby, but you can be shuttled to Hachijo Supermarket at 5:30 pm.
