We stayed in the House and it was fantastic! Beautiful, roomy, peaceful and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the yard and looking at the stars at night. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. Full of wonderful suggestions for things to do. Bonus that they have shovels and beach towels available for hot beach. We really enjoyed Hahei. It is a sweet little community with a beautiful beach and fun brewery, great cafe and delicious Church restaurant. Best meal we had all trip. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

The accommodation was delightful and set in a beautiful garden setting. We stayed in a garden studio which was great for 2 people. The balcony was a lovely spot for breakfast or an afternoon wine. The staff were very friendly and the BBQ was a great addition for cooking food. The location is ideal for access to activities and the village.

We keep returning to The Church Accommodation. We love how the separate cottages are set amongst trees and garden. Always very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful during our whole stay, one week this time. Walk to Cathedral Cove was a highlight.

Our stay at The Church Accommodation was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, happy, and kind—it made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and our room was just perfect—immaculately clean, stylish, and full of character. The continental breakfast was a real highlight each morning—fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day. Our 9-year-old was thrilled with the options too! Having The Church Bistro right next door was the cherry on top. The food was absolutely first class—every dish we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. It was such a treat to have fine dining so close after a day of exploring. We would absolutely recommend The Church to couples, families, or anyone looking for a relaxed and memorable stay in Hahei. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful cottages, set in mature gardens. The accommodation felt very private and cosy. We received a warm welcome and were given plenty of information about the area. Fabulous breakfast with home made granola and yogurt. Everything was an easy walk away. We loved the atmosphere in Hahei and found the locals very friendly. Our hosts recommended the 1 hour rib boat for wildlife and visit to Cathedral Cove, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We ate in The Pour House both evenings and the food and service were very good. We would have loved to have stayed in Hahei longer!

Wonderful hosts—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The individual cottages offer a perfect blend of privacy and nature, surrounded by lush plants and trees. They are spacious, well-equipped with all amenities, and conveniently located near the village center. For an unforgettable experience, take the 55-minute pre-dawn hike to Cathedral Cove at sunrise before the shuttle and water taxi services begin.

The Church was a lovely self contained apartment with all the facilities for an excellent self catering stay. The location was within easy walking distance of the beach which allowed for refreshing daily swims. Would definitely recommend the location if on the Coromandel as you will find a chilled, relaxing place to stay in the great village of Hahei.
