AAnonymous UserThis is one of the better quality options in Golmud (there aren’t many). The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the service was very poor - there were no functioning USB ports in the room and the hotel was unhelpful - seeming unwilling or unable able to offer a solution. The “room service” is actually takeaway food delivered from outside the hotel but no cutlery/chopsticks was provided with it. When we asked the hotel to provide some, it took nearly 20 minutes to arrive (longer than the food itself), by which time the food was getting cold. We had to ask repeatedly for sufficient drinking water, having only been provided two small bottles for two people. Aside from the poor service, the hotel is in an odd location, surrounding by closed shops and building sites - nowhere near the commercial centre of the city - with nothing within walking distance. With the right management, it could be an excellent hotel, but it’s not quite there at the moment.

GGuest UserComing from Kekexili, we exited National Highway 109 and drove right past the hotel. Its location is excellent, and the facilities are comprehensive. They offer a complimentary laundry room and dryer, which was a lifesaver – I was able to wash all the clothes I'd accumulated during my journey. Unlike other hotels that typically charge, this GreenTree Inn provided free laundry service and even detergent.
The front desk and all staff members were incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to answer questions and serving with a smile. The room was also very comfortable, equipped with an individual air conditioner and a humidifier. Given that Golmud is a very dry city, the humidifier was a truly thoughtful and appreciated addition.
The scenery along the way was absolutely stunning, and we experienced all four seasons in a single day. The temperature was mild and very pleasant. We also visited Qarhan Salt Lake; the road directly outside the hotel leads straight there, making it very convenient to access. Parking was also easy.
Right downstairs from the hotel, there's a car wash and a repair shop, which made car maintenance incredibly convenient. Next door, there's a BBQ restaurant. Hand-grabbed lamb and Kangkou (a local pot stew) are specialties here, so finding a good meal was easy and didn't require walking far. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, right at the entrance to the Sky One Scenic Area, and booking a room also included complimentary tickets to the attraction. However, I suspect this hotel has changed its name, as many items in the room still had 'Baiwei Hotel' printed on them. Furthermore, the facilities are quite dated. While I was getting ready, some plaster fell off the bathroom ceiling – thankfully, it didn't hit my head. The wardrobe smelled quite musty. During breakfast, there was a person smoking in the restaurant, dressed in casual clothes but clearing tables. I presume they were staff, which is highly unprofessional! The front desk staff were generally friendly; however, with the exception of an older lady who seemed like a supervisor or manager, the other younger receptionists appeared quite unsure of their duties. Still, I appreciate the hotel for providing complimentary drinks, fruits, and snacks.

GGuest UserI felt a little uncomfortable when I arrived at Chaka. I had some altitude sickness. When I checked in, the front desk opened a VIP channel for us and checked in quickly. There is also glucose drinking water in the lobby, which is effective in relieving altitude sickness. Thank you

GGuest UserWe arrived at Chaka Salt Lake on the first day of our trip to Qinghai. I looked at many hotels online and saw that their reviews were very high, so I placed an order directly. The front desk was very enthusiastic, the room was clean and hygienic, but I forgot to take a photo of the room and uploaded it. The breakfast was very rich and had everything. The children were very happy eating it. This hotel is worth recommending and I give it a five-star rating!

GGuest UserIt is very close to the Chaka Salt Lake Scenic Area and you can reach it quickly after getting off the highway. Parking is very convenient and there are many restaurants nearby. The room is large and the decoration is simple and elegant. Breakfast was also provided, with a limited variety, which suited my taste very well.

AAnonymous UserHygiene: When the room is vacant, the window is open, so there will be dust in the room. There were dead mosquitoes on my bed sheet (I cleaned it myself). People with strong cleanliness obsession should consider it carefully;
Environment: The view is pretty good. The grassland room type is in the first row, with no obstruction in front, and you can directly see the grassland and salt lake (but it is still a certain distance from the lake, not directly by the lake), but people who like the view can still consider it;
Starry sky at night: It depends entirely on the weather. I couldn't see a single star that night, only clouds and the moon.
Facilities: There is a projector (but you have to adjust the focus yourself and log in with a platform membership account, otherwise you can't see anything); the toilet is relatively small (no door, only a cloth), and the shower room is a separate wet area, which is okay, with stable water flow and temperature.
Parking: You can park directly in front of the hotel;
Others: The front desk is a bar, the atmosphere is good at night, but there is no experience.
Nearby: Some restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, which is quite convenient.

TTeo Sin DeeThe shower water pressure is very low and the hot/cold water is terrible, it's either too hot until can burn your skin or it's too cold. Even if you didn't turn the knob,one minute it's cold , the next it is icy cold.
Also after exit lift, you have to lift your luggage as the surface is not smooth. This is really inconvenient to your guests with luggage.
Other than this 2 point, the room is nice and worth to stay.

DddilddillyaWe went to see the main tourist destinations of Qinghai Province, Qinghai Lake and Chaka Salt Lake for 2 days and 1 night. I am truly grateful for the kindness of the travel agent I met at the train station.
2 people 1 day 400 yuan, 2 days, so I went with the girl and the grandmother who was traveling for 800 yuan.
After seeing Qinghai Lake, I called the accommodation I had booked, but there was no place to eat because it was late.
I am grateful to the owner couple who waited for me even though I checked in late at 11 pm after eating.
When I went out to see the stars at 3 am, the lighting was relatively dim, so I could see the stars in the night sky.
It would be good if they limited the lighting at night and specialized it as a good place to see the stars.
