3-Star Hotels in Hakodate

The hotel is located just opposite the Hakodate JR station and bus station, very convenient to travel around at Hakodate. Necessary razors, comb, tea and ear buds can be collected from the lobby. The staff here are very polite and helpful. Special thanks to 大和and 藤田. They helped us to fill up the form to send our luggage to Sapporo and contact Sapporo hotel. (Additional price needed for the 宅急便). This makes our journey easier to go around without carrying heavy luggage up and down the JR. The hotel breakfast is just additional 1200 Yen per person. It is very worth it to have our breakfast here.

Super super like this hostel. Just 4-5 stops by Tram from JR Hakodate Station, about 10-15mins rides. I stayed in Mix Dorm but very safe n quiet. For ladies Shower Room, only lady with access card can tap in. Inside ladies shower room got washing machine and Dryer. Like their Level 4 shared Kitchen which can cook, heat up and eat at this area. I get to know few other visitor friends from different country and have a nice chat. The L4 rooftop just outside of the shared kitchen, and viewing at the Red Brick Warehouse. There are 2 Lucky Pierrot Burger (Crown Burger) outlet just behind this hostel, one just behind hostel and another one located at Red brick Warehouse. They do have bicycle for renting. Hostel main Road are facing the famous photo spot Hachiman-Zaka Slope (八幡坂) and walking distance to the Mt Hakodate Ropeway station. The staff are very nice and can speak well English. Sure will stay here again if I revisit Hakodate in future.

The breakfast has little choices. We did not book the buffet dinner as we would like to try other local authentic food. Room a bit rundown. The hot bath pool need renovation as we can see the pool flooring is coated with stains. Need to pay for hot spring tax which this was not made known during booking.

It takes about 5 minutes walking from JR station. There has space for us to open two luggage at the same time. The city tram station is near to the hotel. There are many different kinds of food stores around the hotel. The hotel staff is very kind and well-communicated with English. It is a good choice for this hotel in respect of the price. The breakfast provided is not bad.

Love to stay here. Can access directly from JR Hakodate station. The staff are very welcoming. I got the room with Hakodate Sunset View. There are 12 types of pillow that you can choose from the lobby floor. Will definitely be back to stay here again :)

The room is indeed small compared to those in China. There are three of us, two adults and one child. It's barely enough for a six-year-old kid to live in it. We just sleep there anyway. The bed is very soft, super soft. The bed is a good size for three people. It should be very friendly for office use. There are separate work chairs and work tables. In addition, there are two small chairs and a small table near the window, which can be used for a meal. It is indeed very convenient for two people to go out for fun or business. There are also self-service washing machines in the hotel, but it's a bit troublesome to queue up. Overall, it's not bad. The price is cheap now compared to other hotels of the same period, 1,000 RMB for two nights. Other hotels are 800 per night.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's spending a day or two in Hakodate, for its strategic location, spacious rooms and vast amount of amenities available. The hotel is about 5 mins on foot from the JR station, but just a word of caution if you're travelling with big luggage during snowy times then 5 minutes might feel like it's 15 minutes! The room itself was spacious with basic amenities, but they have free coffee / tea machine on ground floor and in the lounge on L17. Room was clean. Hot spring on L18 was also awesome, with fantastic view overlooking the ”million dollar” Hakodate night view.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and offered a stunning sea view. Guests have free access to the hot spring facility, which was a delightful experience. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and offered a variety of delicious options. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the morning market, making it easy to explore local offerings. Highly recommended!

The location is great, very close to JR Hakodate. Just two steps downstairs is the Hakodate Market. The nearest tram stop is about a five-minute walk away. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious, simple Japanese home cooking. And the room is big enough to open two suitcases without any problem. The room also has a humidifier. Toothbrushes and spoons can be obtained in the lobby. There is a small refrigerator in the room, hot water and microwave in the lobby.

Room was small but comfortable, loved the hot bath but it was a little too hot, breakfast is pretty decent too. Nothing much to do in Hakodate though.
