I've had the pleasure of staying at several high-end hotels, including the Hakone Gora Byakudan. Without a doubt, Byakudan surpasses its competitors in every aspect. The service, facilities, and genuine care for guests are exceptional. I only wish I could have extended my stay. The room was flawlessly clean, and the bed provided a truly restful night's sleep. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, readily available to assist with any needs. The hotel's location is convenient, offering easy access to local attractions. Additionally, the complimentary car service to nearby destinations such as art museums and the cable station was a thoughtful touch. The Japanese dinner and breakfast were beyond delicious, featuring a diverse array of options. The snacks and wine bar were equally impressive. I particularly enjoyed the massage chair and the delightful ice-cream selection. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hakone Gora Byakudan to anyone visiting the area

We stayed at Byakudan and loved it. The staff were very kind and high quality of service. From the moment we walked in, we were attended to in great detail and provided excellent service and amenities. We stayed in the Jin Suite and it was very spacious, comfortable, clean and relaxing. The furnishings were a nice blend of Japanese and Western. The open air private onsen was large and private. Every dish in the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely come back to stay at Byakudan in Hakone Gora again!

Private onsen on the room and you can have your own dinning area were super nice.
You can enjoy all the amenities in the hotel. Highly recommended for couples and families who want to spend time together and do nothing because the atmosphere there was so relaxed.
Friendly staffs and they even drove us to the nearest station.

The experience of staying at Gora Byakudan Hotel was great, completely beyond expectations, a perfect trip to Hakone. Matcha and snacks were provided when checking in, which were very delicious. Miss Takano Saki, who was responsible for checking us in and introducing us, was beautiful and cute ❤️. She could speak a little Chinese and the communication was very smooth. She asked us about our needs very patiently. The room was very large and comfortable, with quite complete supplies and an aromatherapy stove. Each room has a private bath, which is super relaxing after soaking. There is free coffee, tea, and milk all day, and delicious strawberry ice cream at the entrance of the public bath. Free drinks and candy snacks are also provided from 8pm to 11pm. The kaiseki dinner was very good, beautiful, delicate and delicious. It was served one by one, and the whole process took 2 hours. I experienced grinding my own mustard. The young lady who served us introduced the dishes very patiently. The service was very good. The Japanese breakfast on the second day was also very rich, and the grilled fish was super fragrant. 👍
