Beautiful resort in the middle of a remote forest area, perfect for relaxation and connecting with nature. The rooms are cosy and clean. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with chefs preparing freshly made dishes right in front of you! We did find a bug in the room but the hotel is in the middle of the nature so we didn't mind really. The onsen was ok but it was not mixed. Note that if you are not arriving by car and you have luggage, the hotel is uphill so better contact the staff in advance so they can arrange a pick up for you.

The hotel's condition doesn’t match the photos you can find online. It is not well maintained, the garden and trees are not taken care of, and the facility is getting old with molds and paint peeling in the rooms. Extremely cheap room speakers, no television, cheap hairdryer, cheap amenities. Not what we are expecting for such a price. I paid 95,000¥ for one night without dinner included. Overpriced.

The hotel is located in the mountains of Hakone, a little further inside than many famous hotels in Hakone. The hotel is very large. It may be because it is cold on the mountain that the trees are not as good as those in other places in Hakone. It is relatively close to take a bus or a taxi from Gora Station. Hakone Yumoto is relatively far away and it costs about 400 to take a taxi. The hotel consists of a building and 17-8 villas. I booked an ordinary wood stove double bed room before, but I upgraded to a villa after arriving at the site. I was very satisfied with the stay. The facilities of the villa are relatively complete, quiet, and living in the forest, you can see the stars at night. May It's still very cool at night in the Hakone Mountains. It feels great to burn a wood stove in the villa. The villa has an outdoor hot spring pool and a big courtyard, but there are no flowers and flying insects, which feels a bit wasteful. The Western breakfast is exquisite, rich and delicious, and the Western dinner set is also delicious. You can pay extra to replace the pork with beef. There are all kinds of birds and a free coffee and tea lounge. It feels very quiet and reconciled with the city. In short, it is worth the money compared to the price and the products and services provided. It's just too quiet at night. I'm a little worried about safety when I can't see people sleeping. I suggest that the merchant strengthen the security measures of the door.

This is the hotel I will go to again when I come to Hakone. It's so beautiful and the service is great. We arrived very late and the staff recommended restaurants to us and drove us there. It was great!
