Hakonowa Hot Spring Inn

There are three Japanese-style rooms, all located on the second floor of the box burger restaurant, but it is quiet at night and you don't have to worry about being disturbed. The staff is very enthusiastic and patient, and speaks fluent English. Hot springs require reservations. One room has two reservation opportunities per night, one in the morning and one in the evening. After the reservation is successful, you can enjoy it alone. The room is made of wood, and the overall clean and elegant, but the sound insulation and stability are not very good. Guests in three rooms share a washbasin and toilet, and need to make their own beds (but it's very simple). It is suitable for guests who want to experience Japanese houses. Overall, it's good.

Very good Japanese-style inn experience! Box Burger is not difficult to find using the location navigation. It is not far from the station, but it looks a bit out of the way. The hotel's own hot spring is also very comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and the sound insulation is better than expected. The only thing is that there are not many toilets, which may be a bit inconvenient to use. And remember to try the burgers at Box Burger, they are super delicious!

Self-service check-in. No one checked in when I arrived at midnight. I had to enter a password. There was no email and I couldn't make a phone call. Fortunately, a Japanese friend helped me contact him. The room does not have a bathroom. There are 2 public toilets and one bathroom for 3 rooms. Don't choose if you can't accept it. The room door only has a rotating lock, which is quite simple. There is a river next to it, and there is some white noise. It sounds like heavy rain in the middle of the night. It is a bit far from Hakone Yumoto, and it is very difficult to find. It is very hidden. All the food is in the room. I took it to the oven to heat it in the morning. The pumpkin soup is very fragrant. I don't know how it is made. . The bread is average, and the coffee is average. Finally, the room is very Japanese and very beautiful, with green leaves and distant mountains, suitable for taking pictures.

Japanese style accommodation in an old wooden house. There is a hamburger restaurant downstairs. The toilet and hot spring are not in the room. You have to make your own reservation for the hot spring, 45 minutes each time. The location is hard to find, and it is easy to go wrong even if you look at the map.

There are three groups of travelers staying in it every time. It is similar to a hotel. You have to make all the mattresses yourself. There is a window that cannot be closed. The location is very remote. Check-in took half an hour. It is a very traditional hotel. But if you want a good accommodation environment, I really don’t recommend this one. It is very inconvenient for travelers dragging luggage.

Excellent value for money! The Japanese-style room design is beautiful, the tatami is so comfortable, the view outside the window is beautiful, the hot springs are free to soak in, and the environment is good, except for the poor sound insulation.
