Miyanoshita, Hakone, is a place where a mansion nestled in the heart of Hakone, blessed by nature and the changing seasons, creates its own unique character. Amid this landscape, in a deserted spot, lies a secluded, unexplored valley. The elevation difference from the national highway is approximately 100 meters. Gliding down to the bottom of the valley, you'll encounter an unbelievable silence, shrouded in the veil of the murmuring of a river, where not even a trace of human presence can be felt. Espacio Hakone Geihinkan Rinho Kiryu was born there, as if embraced by Hakone.
Espacio, meaning "space" or "universe" in Spanish, offers you the key to a mystical journey, a place filled with healing, peace, and joy. The space that envelops Espacio Hakone Geihinkan Rinho Kiryu is like a kind of barrier, accessible only to special individuals. Each guest room is decorated with artwork by various artists that captures symbols of gods and good fortune - the kirin, phoenix, turtle, and dragon - from various perspectives. While all are backed by traditional Japanese craftsmanship, such as kumiko latticework, washi paper, karakami paper, lacquer, and plaster, the resulting works are both innovative and elegant. The incarnations of gods and good fortune maintain the tranquility of the space.
