The rooms and water bungalows were praised for their spaciousness and beauty. Guests also appreciated the exceptional cleanliness. The staff was commended for being exceptionally friendly and providing great service.

On arrival at Male, Cinnamon take care of absolutely everything which makes a for a very stress free transition from the main terminal to the seaplane terminal. Very impressive and a fabulous start after such a long flight. This tiny Platinum Island did not disappoint and wowed us every single day of our stay. It’s so piece full, tranquil and calm and our first few days we barely saw many other guests, this just added to the Maldives vibe. This island allows you to truly disconnect from reality and relax. Our beach bungalow was 415 and in our opinion one of the very best on the island, very private, stunning beach and views and great to swim from. Our room was stunning and well appointed and kept immaculately maintained by Ali Niyaz, such a kind, professional man who decorated our bed beautifully. We loved the outside bathroom concept, enriched by the sounds of nature and in particular the birds. Dining experiences were extremely good, and Hannan took such great care of us throughout our stay and some how new when we wanted coffee before we even did. So attentive, kind, and professional, this man has the biggest heart and we always enjoyed our chats about our day and experiences. Thank you Hannan for making our stay so special, you are a credit to Cinnamon 100%. Food was incredible with so much variety and well presented, we particularly enjoyed the Sri Lankan cuisine, many Asian, Lebanese dishes and some incredible fresh fish. Thank you chef Kelum for some amazing freshly cooked food at all meal times, and head chef Mohan for introducing us to some delicious Maldivian and Sri Lankan cuisine. Love the refrigerated enclosures for salads, fruit and desserts and every condiment you can possibly think of. Not an issue eating at the same restaurant for all meals, to sit and enjoy meals adjacent to the incredible view added to the dining experience, it was stunning. Drinks package was okay, although you needed to stipulate you would like the branded spirits otherwise you would be served local spirits automatically, which we did not particularly enjoy. Ideally the Schweppes tonic would be refrigerated, given the ice melted so fast in the heat. Beer was fine, some wines were better than others, cocktails were palatable but no sparkling wine/Prosecco which we thought was rather petty and fell short compared to our previous Maldives experience elsewhere. Even on the premium AI it appears not all drinks are included and are an additional cost. Nandana, Meneka and Akalanka were great barmen and were always friendly and very professional, thank you all for the fab G&T’s and for looking after us throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the resort throughout was exceptional, each day pretty much the whole island was swept by the friendly ladies who worked so hard making the outside areas pristine. The Dive Centre, (on the other island) offered some incredible trips and experiences, the team were so friendly and professional. Massive thank you
