Railway Hotel

After being ignored for a second time at the bar, I asked the bar man to serve me next, to which he replied "Yes, I'll just serve this person first". So that was three people that I had to wait in line behind...I should have known then to just walk out. One pint of lager and a small wine cost £12.80. Go round the corner where the same round cost £5.20.

I'd read the previous reviews about the price of drinks but was meeting a group of friends so had no choice but to go. I was still surprised though that a pint and a small glass of wine was £11.65! Other people were paying over £8 for a gin and tonic. It's no wonder everyone 'nursed' their drink to make it last. For a back street dingy pub in Halifax charging these prices I'm amazed it's still open. So glad when we moved on elsewhere for a much better time.

This charming pub is nestled near to the Piece Hall. I popped in for a half of their real ale. The drink was nice enough and the garden pleasant but why £2.50 for half a pint? It was a very sunny day when i visited, the interior is dark so couldn't really see what the decor was like. No food

Very good bar, relaxing atmosphere! Very Friendly bar staff! Been before , still a very good freindly welcoming place dispite me not coming in a fair while due to very busy comitments! I will deffo return! Thanks Horizon for delivsring such a great experinence once again! Would recomemd!
