This hotel has a cozy bed-and-breakfast vibe. My husband and I stayed here during our first trip to Austria, and when we planned another visit because my mother-in-law wanted to see the Alps, we knew we had to return. We were fortunate to be there on Mother’s Day during our family trip, which was just perfect. After a long day of sightseeing, we returned to the hotel to unwind. The husband and wife who run the place are wonderful. The wife offered us some cake from the Mother’s Day brunch they had hosted, and to our surprise, she brought out an entire cake instead of just a slice! It truly made my mother-in-law’s day. The European breakfast buffet is fantastic. If you're used to a continental American breakfast, you’re in for a treat! They offer a delightful spread of meats, cheeses, pastries, jams, and more—essentially a breakfast-themed charcuterie! It was always a pleasure to grab a bite before heading out. While the rooms are quaint and could use a bit of updating, this adds to the hotel’s charm. Nestled in the Alps, my husband and nephew enjoyed a lovely hike up the mountain during our stay.

We have been here several times but unfortunately the restaurant is closed. But you can stay overnight very well and have a great breakfast! Parking right by the hotel and pure nature! We were there with 5 adults and two children and everything was perfect!

This pretty hotel is located in the middle of a basin between slopes in the forest. Very well maintained but with years of tradition. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. There is a pretty little wellness area with a steam bath and sauna, which is very welcome when the weather is bad.
