Well I wasn’t meant to be here …. On a cruise to Lisbon and my wife suffered appendicitis. We were offloaded and sent to hospital and I needed a place to stay. Finding short term accommodation in Hamilton isn’t easy at the best of times but with zero notice , anything half decent was booked. Then I found Roseden! Rachel found me a room for a few nights but as they were booked after that , then moved me to another hotel (won’t name it - was ok) , and then back to the Roseden. Turns out my wife had complications and I needed to extend. After much shuffling they managed to keep me there a further 6 days. The staff there (special mentions to Rachel and Kayla ) bent over backwards to make what was a rotten time for me as good as it could be. They could not have been more compassionate. This hotel has a heart. Unlike big faceless hotels, the people here were all friendly from the porter to the breakfast waiter to the chef. The rooms have been renovated and are very nice. Good cable tv/wifi/facikities. Beautiful pool area and overall a relaxed boutique hotel feel. I didn’t want to leave. In fact my wife is out of hospital and we are going back for their excellent Sunday brunch. I can’t thank the people at Roseden enough. It is a friendly comfortable luxury hotel, walking distance to Hamilton town and everything you need. Food is great (Clarabelles pizza bar is excellent). Stay here if you want a warm personal welcome, comfortable rooms in a great location. Thanks everyone.

As always, the food was delicious and high quality, however this was the only positive part of the experience. No information on the set up was given when this was booked over the phone or when we arrived. If we had known it was one course every hour we would have left (like the party of 6 that walked out immediately after sitting) as we expected the usual (and excellent) a la carte setup. The bartender brought a Mr. Chicken bag to the bar and the service staff were disorganized and paid little to no attention to the tables. The toilets were in an unclean guest room, with dirty linen and trash. I was directed to an occupied guest room by Shekar - a child had to send me to the correct room. We were celebrating an engagement with friends from overseas and I have never been so embarrassed to have brought people to eat here. We were a group of 4 and spent a total of $412 and absolutely did not get the value in food or service - especially as we watched birds take food from the buffet which was incredibly unsanitary and ruined any interest in eating.

Great room, comfy bed, lovely property, delicious food and perfect variety of food options - breakfast, brunch, lunch, pizza, fancy dinner. Staff was so nice! Love the perk of free drink tokens for skipping room service. It was such an easy walk to town, restaurants, and the water, ferry, etc. Highly recommended.

An utterly charming historic hotel with superb service. Both restaurants top notch with original and creative menus. Convenient to town. We had some unusual requests such as help with arranging bicycle rentals and Rosedon came through.

Such an enjoyable 3 night stay, From the moment I arrived the hotel looked amazing and the evening manager who greeted me was friendly, attentive and took time to make sure I had everything I needed. I have forgotten her name but she was so kind and helpful throughout my stay, going to the trouble of arranging a late checkout for my comfort on the last day of my stay. I had a comfortable, quiet room in gorgeous surroundings. Just can’t praise the breakfasts enough, beautifully served on the terrace and the staff were perfect. I also have to mention staff member Tia who took time to personally help when I had a small problem with my room key, and was super friendly. All in all, probably the best service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel.

This was our first trip to Bermuda and the Rosedon was an excellent choice. The location was a reasonable walking distance to downtown shopping and connections to transit everywhere. The property was well maintained and the room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast on the porch and dining indoors on cool nights was great, and the food was excellent. Other restaurants are within walking distance. Staff were helpful with touring arrangements and wait staff ( Kash and his co-workers) went out of their way to make each meal special. Great 5 night stay.

We spent one week from Dec 27 to Jan 3 at the Rosedon Hotel. We enjoyed its convenient location in Hamilton, the large room, the gorgeous grounds, the great food at both restaurants (the Huckleberry tasting menu for New Year's Eve and the pizzas at Clarabell), and the amazing breakfast. The main reason to go to the Rosedon Hotel is its helpful, kind, caring, friendly staff. They made us feel so welcome and made our time in Bermuda fantastic.
