Yamayuri No Yado

This is a mountain lily hidden in a stream The buildings are built according to the terrain. Except for the difficulty in carrying luggage, everything else is beautiful! Friendly service, comfortable rooms, breakfast and dinner are delicious and the portions are satisfying. The hot spring space is warm and small, which is very suitable for couples and sisters to travel🥰

I was a little surprised to see stink bugs and crickets indoors because it was in the mountains. It was a little disappointing that there was a spider's web in the room with the hearth, and the garbage on the floor was left as it was all day. In addition, there was no appearance of ventilation during meals, and many people were chatting normally without wearing masks. I felt a little uneasy because there was no partition. I felt inconvenient because the lighting in the facility and the room (especially the toilet) was too dark. The quality of the hot spring was good and it was very comfortable. There is only one washroom in the bathroom, so if several people overlap, you will have to wait. The food was absolutely exquisite. I feel that the quality of accommodation is maintained only by meals.

花巻温泉のさらに奥にある秘密基地感のある台温泉。 温泉街といっていいのかかなり寂れており華やかな印象からはかけ離れております。 それでもこちらの宿は廃業や休業の相次ぐ台温泉のランドマーク的な存在で立地も温泉街に入ってすぐなのでわかりやすい。そのため余計な廃墟などを見なくても済むのでそういうのが嫌いな方にはいいのかもしれません。 施設は歴史ある宿だからなのか古さを否めませんが従業員さん方のサービスなどでうまくカバーしていると思います。 囲炉裏料理は貴重な体験ができました。なかなかこういう料理って口にする機会がありませんから。ただ個室でないので人目が気になるのがやや残念に思いました。 食事はボリュームもあり前沢牛がの料理がおいしかったです。 温泉はかすかに香る硫黄臭が自己主張が強すぎず泉質もさることながらいいお湯でした。岩手は遠いですがまた再訪したいと思います。
