Hua Yi Hotels in Hangzhou

We had a very nice 4 day stay at this hotel, where the floor staff, Zheng Jing郑静，and Ye Guangzhu叶光珠, provided consistently attentive service. Whenever we requested additional water bottles or fresh towels, they were delivered to my room almost immediately. The hotel is one of the most well known 5 Star hotels in Hangzhou, though older, offers a modern and stylish ambiance. The food delivery robots always delighted the children. This hotel is extraordinary in terms of cost effectiveness. The location is also excellent.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. You can walk to the pier to take the canal boat and walk to museums nearby. We also walked to the west lake, about 1.4 km. The breakfast is good (Chinese style). We went during Chinese holidays and the hotel was full, people took all the pudding as soon as it arrived, but the hotel kept refilling. The room was very comfortable, big, with a bed and a nice view of the city (13 floor). The cleaning lady was very patient and cleaned our room past mid-day. The receptionist kiki helped us in English using WeChat translation, and gave us a lot of information on the walking tours to the west lake, pagoda and canal.

We spend a brilliant weekend in Hangzhou at the Zhejiang Hotel. Excellent location to metro line 1 as well as Wulin night market, and great room service. West lake was beautiful in the evening sun, despite the traffic control areas. Also the old hotel heating system gave us some discomfort as this very hot weekend left our room at 28c with only a weak fan. The National Tea Museum is a must-see, relaxing and well curated. Overall, very satisfied.

Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular shopping streets, including Hubin Road, where you can find both luxury brands and local shops. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, giving guests many dining options beyond the hotel itself. 2. Warm and Efficient Check-in Process From the moment I entered the hotel, I was greeted warmly by the staff. The lobby is spacious, elegant, and well-lit, giving off a luxurious yet comfortable vibe. Check-in was smooth and quick, with the front desk staff offering a welcome drink upon arrival. I appreciated their professionalism—they spoke fluent English and were well-prepared to answer all my questions about nearby attractions and transportation options. One thing that stood out was their attentiveness; they noticed I had traveled a long way and offered to expedite my check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. 3. Spacious and Well-Appointed Rooms The room I stayed in was a deluxe double with a partial view of West Lake. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plush pillows and high-quality linens that made it hard to get up in the morning! The room also had a large flat-screen TV, a work desk, and a cozy seating area by the window. The view from my room, although not directly facing the lake, still offered a lovely glimpse of the surrounding cityscape and greenery. One feature I particularly appreciated was the bathroom, which was clean, modern, and well-equipped with both a bathtub and a rainfall shower. I enjoyed starting my day with a wide selection of fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and Chinese dim sum. They also had made-to-order noodle and omelet stations, which was a great touch. The food quality was excellent, and the service during breakfast was attentive, with staff regularly refilling coffee and tea without being asked. In addition to the breakfast buffet, the hotel offers several dining options throughout the day. I dined at their Chinese restaurant one evening, which specializes in Hangzhou cuisine. The dishes were authentic and flavorful—definitely a highlight of my trip. I recommend trying the local specialty, Dongpo Pork, which was cooked to perfection. Room service was also available 24/7, and I tried it once when I returned late from sightseeing. The food was delivered promptly, and the quality was on par with the restaurant meals.

we stayed in a twin room again before going back to Shenzhen. we came back from 4days stay in Huangshan. i left my big luggage in the reception. and the staff was so cheerful and talked about our trip in Huangshan. so she gave us room 1018 which is just right next to the Venice Restaurant. i have no regret staying in this hotel. except for the noise in the 7am! i was still sleepy by 7am as i stayed late getting anxious about the Jeju air mishap. as our flight will br on dec30 night. so i worried a lot then when im in my good sleep, i was awaken by the hammering and drilling noise on the other side of the wall.. so this incident ruined my rest. i was quite dizzy in the morning due to lack of sleep but i just managed to drink coffee to stay awake for the rest of the day.

Staff were helpful to help us check in close to mid night due to flight delay. They even upgrade us to a bigger family suite. The room was very clean and the air con temperature was comfortable. Breakfast selection was good with Chinese and western food. We visited their viewing terrace at level 18 and got a fantastic view of the city and West Lake. Would stay there if we visit Hangzhou again.

Very clean, tidy and spacious room with great amenities. The room is too comfortable to stay in. The location is fantastic. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall. Your meals are easily covered if you're lazy to go far out. The hotel breakfast was superb. Wide spread of food choice. More importantly, the dishes were freshly cooked and always warm even if they were prepared early. The taste was delicious too. I would definitely come back here again.
