It was comfortable stay so you get what you paid for. The location was not the best because you need to take a bus or taxi to get to the old city. The receptionist were very kind and helpful. They offer tours and taxi to and from the airport in reasonable prices. 10 min taxi to Aeon mall which has the best food court in Hanoi in my experience.

Compared with the appearance of the hotel, the interior is old. The location is near the ion mall. It's very suitable for shopping. There are no convenient facilities around. On the whole, the cost performance is average

Hotel is good for your money , a couple of nights you can spend . Additionally give a blanket . The room has hot water , location is not quite successful , far from the sights , but the shopping center is close . There is a smell of moisture in the hotel . The air conditioner works well .

I stayed here for one night because I was going to Bat Trang Pottery Village. From Gia Lam Station, I headed south, passing the Aeon Mall in Long Bien on the way. The surrounding area was a quiet residential area, one block away from the main road. The first floor in Japan is the ground floor, and the room on the top floor had a great view. The plugs are A-type and C-type, so you can use them in Japanese outlets as long as they are voltage-clean. I thought the cleanliness was good even for the average Japanese. Amenities included a toothbrush set, disposable comb, cotton swabs, shower cap, etc. - there was also a glass cup, refrigerator, electric kettle and ashtray. There were two pairs of sandals in the room. The firmness of the bed is standard in Vietnam, but it seems a bit hard in Japan. There are several noodle shops in the area. I have not confirmed the convenience stores, sorry.

Location is quite strategic in Old Quarter - close to a lot of good local eateries and not too far off from Hoan Kiem Lake which is the bustling area of Hanoi. As such, it's relatively quiet during the night and you can get a good night's sleep (if you have considerate neighbors as the walls are pretty thin). Bathrooms could be better designed for functionality in small spaces. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had lots of great tips for local eateries and tourist attractions - you get to try what the locals enjoy, not the usual tourist traps. I purchased all my tours (e.g. - Ha Long Bay, Sa Pa, Trang An etc.) with them and prices were better than even on Klook and Viator.

The location is great, but there were issues. Our friends travelling with us were locked out of the hotel when they tried to return late, and ended up having to go sleep at a different hotel as nobody could reach the guy on duty at the time. The lady working the counter was very apologetic and did give us a room for the second night free of charge (we were leaving at 10pm for our flight). Before leaving, we got trapped in the elevator. The limit is 6 people and we were 6. We were stuck in there for about 10 minutes and it felt like we were inconveniencing the guy working there by being stuck. It was extremely hot in the elevator as the elevator switched off and so did the A/C. There was also no signal in the elevator.The A/C in the room is also not great and takes long to cool down the room.
