It was good

The environment is very good and quiet, and I can sleep until dawn every day. The food provided by the hotel is very delicious, so you don't have to worry about what to eat. The guy at the front desk was also very enthusiastic.

Arrived at the Hotel pretty early and was delighted that my room was ready considering I had made my booking last minute. Tariro at reception desk was delightful however they couldn’t locate a porter for my luggage and Tariro assisted me personally which shows she understood there was an operational need and stepped in . The room was cozy and very clean 10/10 however there was mosquitoes on my ceiling, so many of them , the house keeper came through after I made a call to spray them all . No windows were open , they must have entered prior to my arrival. That evening I tried to order room service and the phone would not get through. I called reception desk and the were trying to assist which took 1 hour of back and forth calls just trying to make an order, finally reception managed to have them call me back and I finally made order. Violet was very friendly and helpful, I ordered all the food and drinks I was going to need that night because I wasn’t ready to call and wait another hour to get through . The food was absolutely amazing . I had an Alfredo done to perfection and ribs as well.. absolute 100%. Kudos to the chef ! Overall it was a good stay just service is a bit slow . I will definitely be coming again.

When we travel, we always seek out a place to stay that can be a rejuvenating sanctuary after long days of exploring (or in the case of this trip, work and connections). Our stay in the Uganda Suite at Amanzi Lodge was nothing short of magical. The views were breathtaking, and the unique atmosphere of detailed elegance made us reluctant to ever leave the balcony. (Yes, even the balcony was indescribably special). While it would have been easy to just settle into and soak up the room, we are so glad we listened to adventure’s call and explored the breathtaking landscape that literally and figuratively flows throughout the entire property. Each time we ventured out to explore the Amanzi grounds, we were met with enchanting surprises. The interiors are exquisitely appointed, each room a masterpiece of design that feels both luxurious and welcoming, but the landscaping is a marvel, like strolling through a living art museum filled with vibrant sculptures and blooming flowers, reminiscent of a heaven-sent oasis. The owners, Julia and Andrew Mama, are the epitome of gracious hosts. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel like cherished guests and part of their extended family. They went above and beyond, connecting us with local artists and gallery curators, and their personal greetings in the corridors always came with a genuine smile and heartfelt conversation. Even now that we have returned home, the inspiration drawn from Amanzi Lodge continues to resonate. The space they have created is more than just a place to stay; it is a sanctuary of beauty, art, and heartfelt hospitality. I’m glad I was able to look at the room before officially booking here, as I made a mistake and booked at another hotel and the pictures were nothing like that actual thing. I had a nice kind size bed, refrigerator, complimentary water, cable tv with Netflix and HBO options. There was an outside pool I’m terribly upset I didn’t get to utilize. Because I hadn’t made other plans, I was able to extend my stay for an additional night with no problems. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I’m glad I stayed here; will stay here again my next visit to Zimbabwe.

I've stayed at Bronte Hotel many times, and whenever I come back, I find the place as great as all the times before. The central location in Harare can't be beaten, and yet the place has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere as if it was located somewhere way outside the city centre. The lovely garden invites you to chill, especially after a hard day's work, and the restaurant offers you a good variety of food. I recommend Bronte Hotel to everybody who visits Harare. As for myself, I will certainly be back.
