Manman Homestay (Manhattan Apartment Central Street)

Lovely space & host! Location is literally next to Sophia Square but at an affordable price. Such a steal! Would love to come back again

Very convenient location, next to Sophia church and Zhongying Dajie. The room has all the basic needs including the machinery. The staffs are helpful and friendly. I'll stay here next time if i am back to Haerbin.

It was a good stay in this apartment. It is close to services and the owner is also nice.

It was very nice room and spaces clean and everything just meet your expectations

We had a room for 3 persons and it was clean and big so we stayed comfortably for 4 nights. It has a washer in the toilet. The toilet is a bit small and get all wet when shower but we requested for a mop and mopped it after each shower, the floor was dry in minutes so no issue for us. Communication thru Wechat was fast and efficient. Everything we requested for was provided for almost within minutes. Location was good for us as it is near Line 2 metro which took us to the Ice Festival site, Sun Island and Zhongyang Walking Street and we strolled to Songhua River as well. It is just next to Sophia Church as you can see the picture taken from the window of my room. Not all rooms facing the church so if you want the view, you may need to check with the person in charge to find out which room has the nice view. Overall we like our stay and will definitely book again if we come back.

Solo traveller, rented apartment for the night. It's quite nice and spacious, has some views from the windows and really close to St Sofia Church, so location is quite good too. But what's not good - if you decide to book this apartment, be ready to arrive at evening and see that host didn't bother to send any check-in instructions in advance whatsoever, and because there is no check-in desk, as it is not a hotel - then spend about 30 minutes waiting on the street and talking to a TripCom support chat for them to contact the host, they will then actually help btw, kudos to Trip support. They will then ask to write her in WeChat to a specific number (and you have to actually have working WeChat, right?), then there will be no answer from the host because messages don't reach her for some reason, and only when host will physically go down to the building entrance to meet you, you will be finally able to check in. Aaand you will have to also pay a deposit also, using AliPay (at least in my case), so if you don't have WeChat and AliPay working (as a foreigner), be wary that you check-in process may become reeeeally problematic.
