We loved our stay in the Starway. Our room was perfect for 3, large and very comfortable, with a great view of the city. The staff were kind and helpful, doing their best to communicate with us eventhough we don't speak Chinese. The surrounding neighbourhood is great, with the metro nearby and a fascinating maze of little streets to explore and a bustling produce market just by the metro. Highly recommended.

We booked 2 rooms, overall not too bad. However 1 of the room smelt so bad of sewage smell, they knew this as they sprayed so much deodoriser prior to us checking in. I've worked in hotels for 20 years so I know, In saying this the hotel did offer us a room move.

Ordinary hotel with standard service. There is nothing around the hotel. There is welcome coffee and candied fruit in the lobby.

I stayed here 2d time because it's very nice hotel and delicious breakfasts. I like this place, The location is good. The hotel nice and clean, The personal was very friendly and tried to help with everything.

I had a very nice stay here. The hotel is located just 30 minutes away from the popular attractions and a 3 minute walk from a metro station. My room was nice, clean, and very modern. There was also a very impressive view of the city. Staff is also very friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Room was clean and new, though noisy from the wind blowing through the hallway (non stop whooshing sound). Breakfast was fine, the ‘noodle lady’ was very kind, wish the cleaning man would not make the spiting noise while we are eating. There was no hot water for much of a day. Location is on a major street and is close to metro station, but immediate area is a bit chaotic. Check-in could have been more welcoming & pleasant. Free washers & dryers worked well, am grateful for that

The hotel is new, the rooms are nice, spacious and cozy with all the modern conveniences. However, the hotel is in no way oriented on foreign guests. No one of the staff speaks english, even on reception. The breakfast is poor, and there are no forks, spoons or knives, only sticks. The elevators are too slow for a building of this height. The hotel staff members were smoking at the hotel lobby - this is not acceptable. The maids were persistently knocking at my room’s door, not paying any attention on “do not disturb” sign

This was a wonderful hotel to enjoy Harbin Ice and Snow World. Very comfortable room and bed, helpful staff, good breakfast and good transport links near the Metro. I thought it was a good price and good value.
