Nestled in the heart of Haridwar, Amrit Bhavan is a beautiful property thoughtfully remodelled from an old heritage bungalow. This charming homestay sits right across from the Ganga ghat, offering a sense of true peace and solace. The hospitality is exceptional—warm, prompt, and heartfelt. Every meal is prepared with love and sincerity, and served with genuine warmth. The property also offers a range of activities that allow you to spend your entire day within the serene premises, surrounded by nature and the sacred river Ganga—letting you lose yourself in its tranquil embrace. Thank you, Amrit Bhavan, for making my stay so wonderful and memorable. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

A lovely small property in Haridwar, wonderfully located on the banks of the Ganges. Our River View room was lovely, and the balcony was perfect for relaxing private dinners whilst watching the river flow by. We enjoyed the food and the service is excellent. Sunil is an excellent hoast and guide for the morning Kankhal Walk offered by the property which takes you to beautiful parts of the city you would never find on your own. He can also arrange VIP tickets for the Aarti Ceremony that allow you to sit on the steps behind the priests. At 6000 Rs, these are much more expensive the 200Rs seats on the opposite side of the river. You get a much better view of the cermony from the latter, but feel much more part of the cermony in the former (albeit with a much more restrivted view). We did both. My wife and I thouroughly enjoyed our days here.

Location is peaceful and very clean resort. Food is homely and excellent. Staff are very nice. Would call it a little heaven on earth. Icing on the cake is private ghat on the Ganges. Senior citizen friendly. My mother who is 83 years old was very taken care of. Will definitely visit again.

Such a peaceful place. The place is very hygienic. If you come to Haridwar definitely visit Amrit bhawan. The food is amazing, and every dish they have is home made. You can take a bath in the Ganges river, and they even have a jacuzzi. There is also an Aarti every sunset.

We spent a few nights at this fabulous hotel. It is situated on the banks of the river. The room was well thought out, clean with a very comfortable bed and with a large modern bathroom. We had our own private balcony and the room service was excellent serving delicious vegetarian food. The breakfast was fabulous. The hotel manager was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a guide of the old part of Haridwar and showed us parts of the town tourists don’t get to see. We were on a personal journey to find our ancestral information which is recorded in special books kept by priests. Sunil was patient and kind and with his knowledge we were able to locate the priest. We are indebted to his support. We took part in a private aarti ceremony organised by the hotel. Very spiritual and moving. Thank you. I highly recommend this hotel.
