Good hotel for short trip

I use Premier Inns regularly, but this was the worst experience. The room was cold and dated. I was told I needed to decide the day before whether I would want breakfast or not (I’ve never had to do that before). I had the ‘do not disturb’ sign on as I was working on my laptop. However, housekeeping decided to ignore the sign and knock on my door to ask what time I was leaving. I won’t be going back.

After giving the information over to the hotel management and told my vehicle had been booked in I get a parking fine. As always, I returned to the hotel, a couple of days after the fine comes through where I waited for the managers to see me. Explained the situation and they then looked into it. After a fifteen wait at the desk, I was told it was sorted out and not to worry. Can you imagine my surprise today when I get a letter saying I now own £95 for that parking fine. And I can't seem to appeal because I have used my appeal. Perplexed isn't the word I would use, imcompetence, idiocy and down right foolishness. I travel a lot and use premier inns most of the time. I don't let it concern my if the lift is out, where at this particular site both lifts were not in service at the time of visit. But I shall now not be using their services again. It is not the lack of caring that I received no it's the lack of communication that was given to me, as they have changed the parking service and now you have to write directly to the company. Instead they seem to have used my appeal and not forwarded on the fact that even though the parking service work for them and they are saying that they the customer made a mistake, the parking company refused the appeal. Good work premier inn I can see your standards have fallen far from the gutter standards found in a halfway house

The experience with the Premier Inn restaurant (Beefeater) was horrible in Harrow. This was not family friendly at all. The behaviour of the support staffs in the restaurant was horrible. We were told to reserve table for dinner, which was not stated while booking the hotel, neither we (as a family with 2 little kids) were welcomed when we were searching for a seat. In numerous occasions in past we stayed in Premier Inn hotels, and had great service, but we will think twice in future before booking Premier Inn due to the experience that we had during our stay in Harrow. It looks Premier Inn was not able to provide restaurant facility in this stay, and hence they gone ahead with some local franchise for serving food. The breakfast facility was ok (manageable), but simply can't go with dinner services. Support staffs were horrible, behaviour was not welcoming, doesn't offer any help at all. We have seen so many frustrated customers staying in the queue while ordering food, so it was not only us who had the bad experience. We will surely think twice before putting Premier Inn in our search for any future stay. The family room was spacious though and we enjoyed it, but when the restaurant (Beefeater) comes into mind that someone will have to go there for food if s/he has opted for breakfast/dinner, I must say please think twice before booking in this Premier Inn stay in Harrow.

This Premier Inn is in need of a complete refurbishment. Whilst the staff were friendly and provided a good service, the overall experience was very poor. Rubbish in the car park, rotten windows, outdated rooms, lift out of order, unsafe steps to the restaurant in the Beefeater. Have stayed in many Premier Inn's and normally have a good experience. This was the worst so far.
