Needed somewhere to stay for work. Booking in advance was easy and loved the included breakfast and WiFi. Rooms could do with a bit of love, everything looks very old and less than half the lights were working. However, the service from staff and amenities provided made up for the room.

Without a doubt one of the best places we have stayed, the staff were very friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast for me was the best I have ever had in any hotel/Inn. Our main meal at night was excellent, something you would not be able to do yourself at home which speaks volumes for the quality of the cooking ,presentation and service. If i was was being really really nit picking, the bed was a bit hard for our liking and air conditioning would have ben nice, but still looking forward to the next stay.

Staff very polite and efficient, restaurant very clean. Two roast beef dinners for £53.00...very disappointing. One had all the ingredients on the menu although was a very small portion. Sadly the other consisted of two slices of beef, 3 roast potatoes, one floret of barely cooked cauliflower ( no cheese sauce) and a yorkshire pudding. The dessert was exceptional. Excellent Sunday roast, delicious, fresh and quality. Well presented. Decent portions. Menu has good choices, traditional roast and others. Homemade dishes on kids menus too. Bitter and ale on tap. Family friendly. Open fire. Great decor.
