This site is great for nature lovers . Our weather was good but one particularly windy night. We weren’t sure if the awning would stay up…. John looked after us ❤️ It’s quiet and has all the amenities that you would need. I think it’s best for single units rather than awnings because of the great hard standing. It has a great friendly vibe and a stones throw from lovely Hartland. I’ll be going back often Julie and Allen

John was amazingly friendly and helpful. Did a great introduction to the site and local area when we arrived. He also helped me out of a sticky situation with a piece of well placed gaffa tape to stick my car together temporarily. Joseph the converted coach was fun and luxurious for glamping. There seemed to be so much space and the furniture was comfortable and good quality. We were even glad of the unseasonably cold weather so we could try out the log burner. The view from the windows is beautiful. And the joy of coming back to a hot shower after the cold sea. All in all a great place to find some peace and quiet 😁 The local area is inspiring. The cliffs are spectacular and the sea mesmerising. Too rough to swim in whilst we were there, but we enjoyed wave jumping and lying on the hot rocks when we got out on one of the days was so pleasurable. The local beaches are very rocky and you will be struggling to find sand without getting there when the tide is out. However north devon has other sandy beaches not far away. Shamrock chippy in the local town was great, very tasty and freshly cooked with a ten minute wait. Plus between them the local shop and post office had everything we needed. My most recent trip here was to celebrate my birthday in July. Although I didn't stay in Bertram, I have stayed in Joseph and it is brilliant. I camped this time. Lovely family that are so friendly, amenities great and great company. Faultless.

Loved this special place! Very friendly people, donkeys and alpacas in peaceful location with stream. The hobbit-home shower and toilet were clean and worked well. Enjoyed the hot tub for a very reasonable £5. We stayed our campervan but there is a coach, bus and cottages too. Definitely recommend. We will return.

Fantastic quiet site by stream with donkeys and alpacas roaming freely in beautiful setting run by great people. Short walk to village with great shops and surrounding countryside. Pod shower and toilet block clean and warm. We will be back.

I was caravanning with CAMC. The experience from a lovely welcome, checking in, to the last day was great. Alpaca and Donkeys roamed freely. A site toilet and shower was available for the use of. A games room and hot tub for entertainment. An easy peddle to one of the friendliest villages, Hartland. We had a lovely time.

This is a great little campsite tucked away in a secluded valley on the Hartland Peninsula. If you are looking for somewhere where you can relax in almost complete silence, this has to be on the list. Even the donkeys and alpacas are pretty quiet!
