Great place to stay. Newly renovated room we stayed in the crows nest. Big comfortable bed and pullout couch and great shower. Staff was friendly. Antonio check us in and was very accommodating. Also, the weight staff and housekeeping were excellent. Great breakfast every day with quiche and fresh muffins and coffee. Lamia was the waitress and was very helpful and friendly.

Would never go anywhere else. We have been coming to the Winstead for years after staying all over the Cape and once we landed at the Winstead there was no looking back thanks to Doug and Greg! Your friendly welcome, phenomenal breakfast, cleanliness, privacy and overall service is 10. Love both the Inn and the Resort and your flexibility to utilize both properties. You guys rock. We booked a fairly last minute booking to the beach resort. It was our first visit to the area - and certainly will not be our last. The sand was beautifully manicured and almost felt like powdery gulf sand we experience in Ft. Myers Beach! The weather was wonderful, and the hotel was lovely. Had a bit of a feel of a bed and breakfast. It’s an older property but very well maintained and quiet. Breakfast was modest but very adequate for our needs. Yummy pastries, hard boiled eggs, cereal and excellent coffee. We VERY much enjoyed the short walk to - and taking in the area shops and restaurants. They had an awesome pizza place, great bars with live music and fresh seafood, ice cream shops, and lots of shopping. Just an awesome area all around. We could have spent much longer. Recommend highly.

Beautiful inn with well maintained grounds, clean pool with ample supply of towels, attentive staff, and great location. We stayed in the Foreword Stateroom, which was large and clean with a patio and adjacent parking. The bathroom had a spa shower, quality toiletries, heated floor and plush towels. The breakfast was excellent and varied with a personable attendant. The beach ( a short ride) is gorgeous and the convenience of towels, chairs and umbrellas adds to the value. This is my favorite Cape Cod property.

Stayed at the beach resort, great location and very central to town. The outdoor decks and private beach were comfortable and peaceful. Staff was great and breakfast was truly delicious. We would stay here again.

The room we had was the Commodores Quarter, basically a suite. Very comfortable, beds were wonderful, bathroom shower was great because I have an engineering degree so I figured out how to work it. Breakfast was included, but make sure you ask for their quiche - their quiche Lorraine was the best we have ever had. Very happy with our stay....
