"The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the Yanshima Shrine, the Millennium Pavilion, and the Five-Pagoda. It didn't take a few steps. After we arrived at the ferry terminal, we met the hotel's shuttle bus and checked the baggage back. Then we strolled along the coast easily and went back to the hotel with our Yanshima Shrine. In the evening, come out to see the big bird house floating on the water after the high tide. The hotel is built on the mountain and the entrance is relatively small. We confirmed at the door that the hotel should belong to a larger hotel in Yandao. Although it is a bit old, the room is very large, with tatami and western style, very comfortable. The hot springs are well-regulated. It is said to be effective for arthritis. It doesn't feel embarrassing for a day. It is a hotel dinner. It is a good dinner for a hotel that has stayed at no more than 20 hot spring hotels. , recommended."

"The location is very good, just a few minutes walk to the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Mt. Misen Ropeway station. There is a free shuttle bus station right outside the hotel to go the ropeway station. You can see the Torii throughout the hotel window. At night when the Torii with lights on, the view is stunning! The indoor onsen is not big but it's ok for 10+ people at the same time, the outside onsen is small and can only occupies 4-5ppl.
The staff in the hotel are very friendly and thoughtful. I was fully wet after the hiking to Mt. Mismen on the raining day, they helped me to dry all my shoes and coat. Happy to stay at Iwaso and will definitely stay again. "

"This is definitely the best service hotel in Japan. Everyone knows that Japan's service attitude has always been good. This is a bit of a good time. As long as you see the waiter, you will smile and say hello! You can try it for dinner, and the meal is very rich! The hot springs in the hotel are not a bit boring in the open air, but the bubbles are not bad. There are a bunch of deer at the door~... You can call the hotel at the Miyajima Pier. If you want to go to the shrine, you can call the hotel to send you. Room we are on the fourth floor, sea view is OK!"
"I used it for the first time this time.
Sakashima Shrine, Pinghe Park
The hotel also wrote that it was not so painful that I was worried about the sound of the denshi by word of mouth
My friends were happy to have this comfortable hotel for the first time
It was more than the price
I would like to use it if I have another chance."
"It was great. It is a guest house in Miyajima. We stayed with 3 people. It was about 25000 yen a night.
The room is very large !! I thought it was in a house. There was also a veranda in the room on the first floor. It is with kitchen ♪ There is also a counter seat, and it is not troublesome for a place to eat and drink.
The location is in front of Miyajima ferry terminal."
"Absolutely beautiful traditional Japanese House, well-equipped and immaculately clean. Lovely location near the bay, with a (somewhat distant) view of Miyajima Shrine. Excellent communication from the operator (despite something of a language barrier).
Electronic check-in was a fairly lengthy process, involving photos of faces and passports and detailed typing in a non-Romaji-friendly keyboard; but that was only a very minor quibble in what was otherwise a delightful stay. Highly recommended!"

Amazing
NNicholas NguI had an exceptional stay at your hotel! The room was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring every need was met promptly and professionally. The amenities were top-notch, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of my stay. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience—I can’t wait to return!
GGuest UserThe hosts at this Ryoken are so welcoming, friendly and helpful! They picked us up from the ferry terminal when we arrived and dropped us back there on departure. This was crucial as we would have otherwise struggled with our suitcases up the hills and through the labyrinth of small streets! The location is a little bit away from the central area, but that is what we wanted. It was so peaceful at night, the deer wandered past our the front as we relaxed in the open air footpath. The food was nothing short of excellent. They specialise in seafood dishes so if you have an allergy it would be important to let the hosts know before you arrive. The rooms were simply and elegantly appointed: we had everything we needed. The onsen onsite was fantastic! After a long day of walking we felt very relaxed afterwards.
Thank you so much to the hosts for making our stay on Miyajima unforgettable!

GGuest UserThe hotel can provide free delivery service! Be sure to contact the hotel in advance! The hotel is also quite far from the pier, and there is a flight of stairs to get there, but because of this, the room can see the big torii! One night and two meals are good, and the hot spring private bath is also good! When you leave, you can store your luggage, and then go to the pier to play, and ask the tourist center at the pier to call the hotel and ask them to send your luggage to the pier, free of charge!

Great
VVP1Great location as it is close to 2 train stations and the Miyajimaguchi ferry terminal. The twin room with sea view is bigger than Japan standards. Quiet neighborhood at night. There’s a funky smell, not sure if from the new carpets. Good deal on Trip.
GGuest UserFelt welcomed by the hotel staff, shared rooms have properly divided beds. Fully equiped with basic amenities such as shampoo, body gel, towels, lockers...
The lounge was full of books to read (tourism books, novels, manga...) and is tastefully decorated. Family-friendly place.
Close to the local train line that travels to Miyajimaguchi harbour (Ferry to the island) in barely 6 minutes.
Great experience overall.
TteainplacesAwesome if you’d like to experience staying in a traditional Japanese home — no shoes inside, sliding doors, futons over tatami, and even an inner courtyard. Everything was clean, and our room had its own shower (though the toilet is shared).
The hosts were very welcoming and spoke fluent English. We also appreciated the three bottled waters provided, something we didn’t get at our previous hotels. The kitchen is well equipped.
The location is just okay — about a 10-minute walk to the train/tram/ferry station. Along the way, there aren’t any shops or restaurants until you reach the station area.
BBoa-menina-MayuThe location was good, but it was quite far from Miyajima Pier, so I thought it would be inconvenient to not have a shuttle car, but as the hotel staff advised, I contacted them before boarding the ferry, and they arrived quickly. I was grateful that you were waiting for me when I did.
The roads were narrow and could only be used by experienced drivers, so we were provided with a courtesy car for both trips. Thanks to the appropriate advice from the hotel staff, we were able to enjoy both the ropeway and the aquarium as planned.
The toilet in the room smelled a bit, but the air conditioning in the room was comfortable, and the hot spring in the public bath was clean.

Very Good
GGuest UserUnparalleled beauty, the hotel room can see the sunrise of Miyagi Island, you can also see the Miyagi Bird House ⛩️, the hotel saw the Chinese passport and immediately had a Chinese waiter to communicate with you, the attitude was super nice. The service is super good, the hotel's hot springs are also quite comfortable, you can soak in the hot springs sooner or later.
Service: Too good. Breakfast also has the famous Miyajima oyster
DdbmubsThe overall experience was ok. The path to hotel is a pebbled slope and stoned entrance, it’s gave me sort of a nostalgic feel, but it’s not luggage friendly. But I must say the hotel needs to do something on the ventilation/air circulation in the building. The room I stayed was near to the dining hall so the BBQ & food smell travelled & lingered along my room floor corridor throughout my stay. The onsen is located at the same section as the dining hall, the smell affected there as well.
